Os socalcos de Jiuzhai, situados na montanha Dahe, a norte da aldeia de Xinzhai, na vila de Damaishan, distribuem-se pelas cadeias montanhosas com uma altitude de 160-300 metros. Os socalcos situam-se no meio das montanhas, abraçados por colinas verdes, em torno das quais existiam 9 aldeias do povo Yao. Os socalcos enrolam-se ao longo da serra conforme a forma das montanhas, estratificados e horizontais, com caminhos longitudinais e transversais. Do sopé da montanha, parecem uma escada celestial suspensa, bela e espetacular.

Jiuzhai terraces, located in the Dahe Mountain in the north of Xinzhai Village, Damaishan Town, are distributed on the mountain ranges with an altitude of 160-300 meters. The terraces are in the middle of the mountains, embraced by the green hills, around which there were 9 villages of Yao People. 九寨梯田，位于大麦山镇新寨村北面的大禾山，分布在海拔160—300米的山岭上。 梯田处在群山间，被青山层层怀抱，周围曾分布有9个瑶寨。梯田依顺山岭盘绕而上，依山赋形，层层叠叠，阡陌纵横。从山脚下向上望去好似天梯垂挂，秀美壮观。
