After three days of intensive replacement work, the second phase of the 134th Canton Fair officially kicks off on October 23rd, welcoming merchants from all over the world again.
It is reported that this session of the Canton Fair will be held in three phases. The second phase will be held from October 23rd to 27th, focusing on displaying three major sectors and 15 exhibition areas: housewares, gifts and decorations, buildings and furniture. Among them, 202 companies from 29 countries and regions participated in the import exhibition. It is worth noticing that 110 of them are from 17 Belt and Road countries, including South Korea, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, and Vietnam, accounting for approximately 54% of the total. They will showcase characteristic products such as housewares, kitchenwares, and building materials.
It is reported that the offline exhibition of the second phase of this year's Canton Fair has reached a record high in scale, with a total exhibition area of 515,000 square meters, 24,551 booths, 9,674 participating companies, and approximately 1.179 million exhibits uploaded for the online exhibition.
In this year's Canton Fair, the building and decorations exhibition area and the bathroom equipment exhibition area are moved from the first phase to the second phase, integrating three professional sections of housewares, building and furniture, and gifts and decorations with the concept of integrated exhibition.
Among them, the building and furniture exhibition covers an area of nearly 140,000 square meters, with 6,405 booths; the housewares exhibition and gifts and decorations area have an area of over 170,000 and 200,000 square meters with 8,281 and 9,371booths, respectively. Each area reaches the scale of a large professional exhibition.
At the same time, the structure of participating companies has been further optimized. This year's Canton Fair has conducted a review of booths. In this year's second phase, there are 5,150 booths of 885 companies, an increase of 1,488 booths and 306 companies with growth rates exceeding 40% in both aspects. There are 1,365 companies participating for the first time, 949 companies receiving titles such as "little giant" firms, single champions in the manufacturing industry, National High-tech Enterprises, companies with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certification, national enterprise technology centers, and Chinese time-honored brands., an increase of 57 compared to the previous session.
As of October 21st, a total of 9,789 companies participated in the second phase online platform of this session of the Canton Fair, with approximately 1.18 million exhibits uploaded.
In terms of the industry types in the second phase, Guangdong, as a powerful province in manufacturing, is impressive in the building and furniture industries. As an important component of home decoration, the sanitary ware industry has developed rapidly in recent years. Guangdong, as an important gathering place for China's sanitary ware industry, is home to numerous well-known large-scale sanitary ware enterprises.
两百企业参加广交会第二期,逾半数来自共建“一带一路”国家
在3天密集的撤换展工作结束之后,第134届广交会第二期10月23日正式开展,再次迎接四海客商。
据悉,本届广交会分三期举行,第二期10月23日至27日举办,集中展示家庭用品、礼品及装饰品、建材及家具3大板块和15个展区,其中,进口展有来自29个国家和地区的202家企业参展。其中,共有来自韩国、土耳其、埃及、马来西亚、越南等17个共建“一带一路”国家的110家企业参展,占比约54%。重点展示了各国家居、餐厨、建材等特色产品。
据悉,本届广交会第二期线下展规模创历史新高,展览总面积51.5万平方米,展位数量24551个,参展企业9674家,线上展上传展品约117.89万件。
本届广交会将建筑及装饰材料展区、卫浴设备展区从第一期移至第二期,整合打造“大家居”主题概念,形成建材及家具、家庭用品、礼品及装饰品三个专业板块。
其中,建材及家具板块展览面积近14万平方米,展位数6405个;家庭用品板块展览面积超17万平方米,展位数8281个;礼品及装饰品板块展览面积近20万平方米,展位数9371个,每个板块均达到大型专业展的规模。
与此同时,参展企业结构进一步优化。本届广交会开展品牌展位评审,第二期品牌展位5150个、品牌企业885家,比上一届第二期增加1488个展位、306家企业,增幅均超过40%。首次参展企业1365家,获得高新技术、专精特新、单项冠军、国家企业技术中心、中国海关高级认证、中华老字号等称号的企业达949家,比上一届新增57家,参展企业结构更优、质量更高。
在线上方面,截至10月21日,本届广交会第二期线上平台企业共9789家,共上传展品约118万件。
从第二期的产业类型看,建材、家具都是“制造大省”广东的强势产业。卫浴建材行业作为家居装修的重要组成部分,近年来发展迅猛。广东作为中国卫浴产业的重要聚集地,拥有众多知名卫浴企业,体量大,影响力强。
