On September 30th at 11 am, the hotel Crowne Plaza Foshan and Hongsheng Memorial Hall jointly held a flash mob event of lion dance and kung fu performance to celebrate the upcoming National Day.

As the sound of gongs and drums filled the air, the lion dance began, captivating both children and adults alike. Following the ceremony, young students who had dedicated years to studying Foshan Choy Li Fut kung fu performed live. With the guidance of a "little tour guide" from Chancheng District and a commentary from the Foshan Wushu Association, tourists stopped to watch the spectacular Foshan kung fu performance. The "little tour guides" are a team of young tourism interpreters nurtured by the government of Chancheng District, Foshan. These carefully selected youngsters provide guided tours at red education bases, Lingnan cultural venues, children's practice bases, and villages in a form that is popular with their peers.

The lion dance is a customary part of any festival or significant occasion in Foshan. An agile lion-dancing team performed alongside the thundering drums at the event. The lively performance was succeeded by the highly anticipated Choy Li Fut kung fu flash mob.

Foshan is known as the city of kung fu, where martial arts can strengthen both body and mind. At the event, a "little tour guide" named Xu Yangyang explained the story of Choy Li Fut kung fu, from its origin, development, and promotion in Foshan to the inheritance of Hongsheng Memorial Hall.

After the tour, there was a second performance of Choy Li Fut kung fu, including demonstrations of unique weapons such as abacus, benches, and umbrellas. The kung fu experience activity after that attracted many tourists to participate, including children and foreign guests who learned Choy Li Fut kung fu firsthand and experienced the unique charm of Foshan kung fu and traditional Lingnan culture.

一场蔡李佛拳“功夫快闪”吸引了众多中外游客

9月30日中午11点，佛山皇冠假日酒店联合佛山鸿胜馆举办“狮舞岭南、功夫佛山贺国庆”功夫快闪活动。

一阵锣鼓声响，醒狮起舞，围观的小孩、大人看得津津有味，现场十分热闹。击鼓和舞狮仪式后是佛山蔡李佛功夫现场展演，学艺数年的青少年学员轮番出场，配以禅城区“小小导赏员”现场导览、佛山武术协会峰哥的解说，游客纷纷驻足观赏，被精彩的佛山功夫表演深深吸引。

鼓声雷动，灵动的醒狮团队闻声而舞。醒狮是佛山每逢节庆或重大活动的必备节目。热闹的醒狮后，便是本次活动的重头戏——蔡李佛拳“功夫快闪”。

佛山是功夫之城，学武可以强壮身心。活动现场，小小导赏员许洋洋讲解蔡李佛拳功夫的故事。从佛山功夫的源起、发展、发扬光大，到鸿胜馆侠之大义的传承，娓娓道来。

导赏结束后是第二段的蔡李佛拳表演，还有蔡李佛拳特有的算盘、板凳、雨伞等兵器展演。表演后的现场功夫体验吸引了众多游客参与，包括小朋友与国外宾客一起亲身体验学习蔡李佛拳，感受佛山功夫和传统岭南文化的独特魅力。
