CICF×AGF comics & game festival kicks off in Guangzhou

From September 30th to October 3rd, the China International Comics Festival and Asia Game Festival (CICF×AGF), the largest comprehensive animation and gaming expo in China, was held in Pazhou. The exhibition invited nearly 110 guests from various fields, such as film and television, voice acting, comics, and novels.

This year, there is a total exhibition area of 65,000 square meters featuring a series of exciting activities. From traditional model exhibitions and dance performances to the recent popular trends of buying animation goods and stamp collecting, there must be one activity that attracts anime enthusiasts and citizens to enjoy!

Hundreds of animation and game companies from all over the country participated in the exhibition, including Tencent Video, Bilibili, Bandai Namco Group, miHoYo, China Literature, NetEase Games, 37 Interactive Entertainment, ANIPLEX, etc., showcasing thousands of animation and game-related products.

This exhibition features a diverse range of animation goods with a wide variety of materials and exquisite designs. From acrylic stands, art boards, ornaments, badges, body pillows, figures to practical crossbody bags, carpets, phone cases, keychains, and stands, everything can be found here. Among them, there are also products that are being sold for the first time in China and are limited to this exhibition.

In recent years, the proportion of female fans among animation and game enthusiasts has been increasing, bringing about new consumption trends, such as cotton dolls, card decoration, and female-oriented (for female consumers) content.

At the entrance of Hall 5, a large-scale Gundam model attracts many fans to stop and take photos. It is reported that a large number of new models are released at the CICF every year. This year, for the first time, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai, the three major tokusatsu works gather at the CICF×AGF, providing fans with a tokusatsu feast.

With the continuous efforts in research on art styles and technological upgrades, Chinese domestic original creations and novel IPs have gained high popularity, becoming blueprints for television or film adaptations, which shows that the market has welcomed domestic original IPs. Classic domestic original IPs such as "Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf" also awaken fans' childhood memories at the exhibition.

It is known that the exhibition has set up a special exhibition area for Chinese original content, aiming to support the incubation of more small-scale IPs. In addition, there is also an exhibition of the achievements of the 20th China Animation Golden Dragon Awards, allowing the audience to experience the growth and charm of Chinese animation.

What's more, in recent years, many high-quality Chinese mobile games have been rapidly attracting a number of players in overseas areas. The game exhibition area at the exhibition is the most popular with an overwhelming concentration of game fans.

In terms of the esports stage, hundreds of participants will kick off the "popular esports competition". From Honor of Kings, League of Legends to Just Dance, Tetris, from group matches to single-player games, various competitions will kick off at the stage. Also, popular game influencers will also bring new online and offline interactive experiences.

The exhibition site is invited nearly 40 exhibitors for the check-in activity, and the audience can interact and check in throughout the exhibition. They can collect various special stamps along the way and participate in the lucky draw at the "destination" for a chance to win prizes worth up to a thousand yuan.

二次元集合!CICF×AGF广州动漫游戏盛典开展

9月30日至10月3日,全国规模最大的综合性动漫游戏展——CICF×AGF广州动漫游戏盛典在琶洲开展。展会邀请嘉宾近110位,涵盖影视、配音、漫画、小说等诸多领域。

今年共有65000平方米展区,推出一系列精彩的动漫游戏活动项目,从传统的模型展览、歌舞表演,到最近流行的“买谷”(购买周边)“集邮”,广大动漫爱好者和市民的玩乐需求一应俱全。

全国数百家动漫游戏企业踊跃参展,包括腾讯视频、哔哩哔哩、万代南梦宫集团、米哈游、阅文集团、网易游戏、三七互娱、ANIPLEX等,展示动漫游戏相关衍生品上千种。

本届展会“谷子”(指周边产品,音译自“goods”)品类多元、材质丰富、设计精美,从装饰性的亚克力立牌、色纸、相卡、徽章、等身抱枕、手办,到实用性的斜挎包、地毯、手机壳、钥匙扣、支架,应有尽有,其中还不乏首次在国内发售、本次展会限定的产品。

近年来动漫游戏爱好者中女性群体比例上升,带来了新的消费热点,如棉花娃娃、“咕卡”(为卡片添加装饰)、女性向内容创作等。

在五号馆门口,一尊大型高达模型吸引不少机甲粉丝驻足拍照留影。据介绍,每年CICF展会都有大量的模玩新品发布,今年首度出现奥特曼、假面骑士、超级战队三大特摄产品联合出席的“豪华”场面。

随着国创、小说IP不断发力,深入研究美术风格和技术升级,获得高人气之余,还成为真人影视化的蓝本,市场对国创IP的反应热烈。《喜羊羊与灰太狼》等伴随90后成长的经典国创IP也在展会上唤醒粉丝的童年回忆。

据了解,展会专门设立国创内容的特色展区,助力更多小型IP的孵化。另外还设有中国动漫金龙奖20届成果展,让现场观众感受国漫的成长和风采。

近年国产手游的破圈之势迅猛,玩家群体的数量飞速增长,不少拥有过硬质量的手游产品在全世界范围都斩获了大量人气。展会的游戏展区现场人气最旺,二次元浓度“爆表”。

电竞舞台方面,数百名参赛选手将开启“全民电竞”。从王者荣耀、英雄联盟到舞力全开、俄罗斯方块,从多人对战到单机硬核,各类游戏比赛精彩上演。更有人气游戏UP主带来新的线上线下互动体验。

展会现场与近40家展商进行联动,观众可在全场进行互动打卡,一路收集五花八门的特制印章,在“终点”参与福利抽奖,有可能捧回最高价值千元的奖品。
