At 15:00 on August 28th, in Meizhou City, Guangdong, the longest tunnel of the Meilong High-speed Railway, the Xiahuangtian Tunnel, was finished by China Railway 25th Bureau Group, marking the completion of all 52 tunnels along the entire railway, which lays a solid foundation for the on-time opening and operation of the Meilong High-speed Railway.
The application of intelligent and advanced technology has guaranteed the smooth completion of the tunnel.
The Meilong High-speed Railway has a total length of approximately 93.98 kilometers. It is the first high-speed railway invested in and constructed in Guangdong at 350 kilometers per hour. It is also a significant project to promote close connections between Meizhou, Heyuan, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
It is reported that after the opening of the Meilong High-speed Railway, the travel time from Meizhou to cities in the GBA, such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, by high-speed train will be reduced from the original 6 hours to 1.5 hours, significantly improving the transportation capacity and optimizing the organization of the route. At the same time, it will also facilitate the connection between the GBA and other areas in Guangdong, realizing the "Greater Bay Area on the railway".
梅龙高铁最长隧道贯通!梅州到广深通行时间将缩至1.5小时
8月28日15时,在广东梅州,由中铁二十五局承建的梅龙高铁全线最长隧道——下黄田隧道实现贯通,标志着全线52座隧道全部贯通,为梅龙高铁按期开通运营打下坚实基础。
智能科技和先进工艺的运用,为隧道顺利贯通提供了坚强保障。
梅龙高铁正线全长约93.98公里,是广东省首条全额投资建设的时速350公里高铁项目,也是推动梅州、河源与粤港澳大湾区紧密联系的重大项目。
据悉,梅龙高铁建成通车后,从梅州乘坐高铁到广州、深圳等粤港澳大湾区城市的通行时间将由原来的6个小时缩短至1.5小时,将极大提高通道的输送能力和改善运输组织。同时,也将助力“老区”通“湾区”,推动实现“轨道上的大湾区”。
