Summer holiday is the peak season for Guangzhou's migrant workers to pick up their children from their hometowns and reunite here in Guangzhou. To enrich the cultural life of these children during the summer holiday, the Migrant Service Demonstration Center of Tianhe District (hereinafter referred to as the "Demonstration Center") joined hands with Guangdong Museum, Liwan Museum, Guangdong Folk Arts Museum and Guangzhou Metro Museum, to carry out a series of study tour activities themed on the cultural experience as part of the summer camp event.

First stop: Natural Resources Exhibition of Guangdong Province

Dinosaurs: The rise of the prehistoric beasts

In the exhibition hall, children let out shouts of surprise at the first sight of the dinosaur fossils and specimens in vivid forms and various shapes. Accompanied by their parents, the children managed to complete the topic task "Weapons of Dragon Warriors", and listened to the history of the earth and prehistoric lives narrated by the docents. Guided by the staff, they also got their hands on the dinosaur fossil simulation models such as dinosaur eggs and teeth.

Second stop: Liwan Museum

Guangzhou's business history & Xiguan's folk culture

Led by the social workers of the Demonstration Center, the families came to the Liwan Museum, where they walked through the exquisite and elegant western-style buildings and the quaint and solemn Xiguan mansions, experiencing the Xiguan flavor amid the historical buildings with both the Chinese and western characteristics. Exhibits in the museum, such as the commodity models in the period of the Republic of China, replicates of the counters in modern times, and a dazzling array of modern commercial posters on the wall, all allow the families to learn about the modern business history of Guangzhou through immersive observation.

Third stop: Guangzhou Metro Museum

Travel along the subway track

The third stop for the migrant families was Guangzhou Metro Museum. Guided by the docents, they visited the ten stations in the Museum in an orderly manner. The subway signs of cities worldwide displayed at the World Metro Expo, the model engine cabin of the shield machine at the Crossing Station, and the subway knowledge-related games at the Amusement Station, have all made their study tour much more interesting.

Fourth stop: Chen Clan Academy (Guangdong Folk Arts Museum)

Splendid traditional architectural culture of Lingnan

Starting from the gate of Chen Clan Academy, the docents led the families on a journey of architectural appreciation. As they walked through the corridors and the courtyards, the exquisite sculptures carved on the roofs and pillars of Chen Clan Academy were unfolded before their eyes.

Fifth stop: Bronze Mirror Exhibition at Guangdong Museum

The charm of the mirror and thousand years of history

In Guangdong Museum, with "Bronze Mirror Culture" as the theme, the migrant families "traveled" through 18 dynasties in Chinese history to explore the evolution and culture of the bronze mirror, one of the daily necessities of our ancestors. By visiting the "Charm of the Mirror" bronze mirror exhibition, the children learned about the beautiful meanings behind the decorations on the mirrors, and the history and culture of a certain dynasty embodied in them. Besides watching the process of decoration rubbing, interactive activities such as mirror stamping were also available for the families to experience.

来穗亲子家庭在游历中感受广府文化

恰逢暑假，正是来穗务工人员从家乡接子女来穗团聚的高峰期。为充实小朋友们的暑期文化生活，广州市天河区来穗人员服务示范中心（以下简称“示范中心”）联合广东省博物馆、荔湾博物馆、广东民间工艺博物馆、广州地铁博物馆四家博物馆，面向来穗亲子家庭开展暑期夏令营之天河区文化体验官博物馆主题系列研学活动。

首站：广东省自然资源展览

探寻史前时代霸主——恐龙

看到展厅内众多形态生动、形状各异的恐龙化石标本，小朋友们在现场直呼震撼。来穗亲子家庭在展馆内完成了“龙侠兵器识多少”主题研学任务，聆听讲解人员对地球发展以及古生物历史的资深讲解。在场馆工作人员的指引下，小朋友们还亲手触摸了恐龙蛋、恐龙牙齿等恐龙化石仿真模型。

第二站：荔湾博物馆

领略近代广州商业史和西关民俗文化

示范中心社工带领来穗亲子家庭来到荔湾博物馆，穿梭在一间又一间精致典雅的小洋楼、古朴庄重的西关大屋中，通过观赏中西结合的历史建筑中体验了一番西关风味。馆内摆放的各种民国时期的商品模型、复刻版近代柜台，墙上张贴的琳琅满目的近代商业广告海报，让来穗亲子家庭在沉浸式观察中了解广州近代商业发展史。

第三站：广州地铁博物馆

打卡地铁运行的印迹

来穗亲子家庭的第三站，来到广州地铁博物馆。他们在讲解人员的指引下有序地参观了地铁博物馆内设置的十个站点，其中环球站展示的世界城市地铁标志、穿越站的盾构机模型机舱、悠乐站的地铁知识相关小游戏等，为本站研学增添了满满奇趣。

第四站：陈家祠

赏析岭南传统建筑文化

资深讲解人员带领来穗亲子家庭，从陈家祠大门开始建筑导赏，在漫步长廊、穿梭院落间，赏析陈家祠内屋脊、柱子上雕刻的精美雕塑作品。

第五站：广东省博物馆铜镜展

研学宝镜风华与千年历史

在广东省博物馆，来穗亲子家庭以“铜镜文化”为研学载体，通过探寻古人日常生活用品——铜镜的演变历史及背后蕴藏的文化，“穿梭”于中国历史上18个朝代。小朋友们通过参观《铜镜风华——馆藏铜镜展》，认识铜镜上的纹饰及美好寓意，了解当中体现的朝代历史文化。来穗亲子家庭在现场观看铜镜纹饰拓印的演示过程，并进行铜镜印章等互动体验。
