Nestled off the southeastern coast of Shantou, Guangdong Province, lies the picturesque Nan'ao County, the only island county in the province. The 11-kilometer-long Nan'ao Bridge, which gracefully opened its gates in 2015, has cemented a vital link between this gem along the Tropic of Cancer and the mainland. Embarking from Yun'ao Fishing Port, a mere four nautical miles sail from Nan'ao County, one can reach the county's first deep-sea net cage aquaculture base. In these cages, healthy and robust fish such as miiuy croaker, yellowtail, and epinephelus moara. Presently, Nan'ao County's sprawling 20,000 mu of oyster farms have been adorned with vibrant eco-friendly floating balls, stitching together the fishermen's thriving oyster business and crafting a picturesque panorama for visitors.

Recent data for the 2023 May Day holiday period reveals Nan'ao Island claiming a spot in the nation's top three hottest island destinations. The allure of attractions such as Qianjiangwan Beach Park, seaside lodgings, fisherman-style eateries, and seafood shacks consistently draws an uninterrupted stream of tourists.

汕头南澳：聆听海洋牧歌

汕头市南澳县是广东唯一的海岛县，地处广东省东南部沿海。全长11公里的南澳大桥于2015年开通，连接起了这座北回归线上的明珠与陆地的脉搏。68公里长的环岛公路纵览各式滨海旅游景点，灯塔、礁石、海浪、相思花……每一缕风吟、每一道浪声，每一次渔船马达的热烈轰鸣，都唱和出了南澳的海洋之歌。

乘船从南澳县云澳渔港出发，航行四海里左右就能到达南澳首个试投产的深海水箱养殖基地，一个个网箱里是茁壮生长的鮸鱼、鰤鱼、云龙斑等多种优质深海鱼类。如今，南澳县超两万亩的牡蛎养殖场已被五彩缤纷的环保浮球覆盖，它们串起了渔民们的“致富”生蚝，也连成了游客眼中亮丽的风景线。
