盛夏岭南,站在距离广州中心城区约40分钟车程外的广州国际港(广州铁路集装箱中心站),蓝天白云下,五颜六色的集装箱堆放得井然有序,宛如色彩市集。卡车发动时的轰鸣声、数字化下的高效机械装卸声和龙门吊作业时的鸣铃声交织在一起,形成一首美妙的夏日协奏曲。
广州国际港是全国首个位于一线城市的铁路集装箱中心站,目前广东唯一、华南最大的国家级铁路货运站场。这里北接白云机场空港的综合保税区,南通南沙海港的自贸试验区,将打造为广州除空港、海港以外的“第三货运枢纽”,推动中欧、中亚、东南亚、南亚等贸易通道在粤港澳大湾区有效贯通。
