On August 5th, the 12th China-South Korea Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition opened at the Chaozhou Museum of Art. At the exhibition, a performance of 24 Festive Drums"Endless Vitality" excited the atmosphere immediately.

The following performance was "Love Song", a selection from the Chiu Chow Opera"Story of Chunxiang" performed by Chiu chow Opera actors Chen Xiaoxia and Zheng Chun. The"Story of Chunxiang" is a well-known classical literary masterpiece known by the Korean people, and many dramas have adapted and performed it. This performance, which combines Chinese and Korean cultures, received applause from the audience.

Piao Xingen, President of the Hunan Branch of the International Calligraphy Art Association of South Korea, expressed that China and South Korea are geographically close and have a close relationship. The China-South Korea Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition has always been a bridge to enhance friendship between China and South Korea since its inception.

Calligraphers Association of Guangdong Province of China and the Hunan Branch of the International Calligraphy Art Association of South Korea became brother associations in 1997. There has been an exchange activity every two to three years since then, and it has never been interrupted for 27 years.

It is reported that both Chinese and South Korean calligraphers participating in this exhibition have presented masterpieces with natural characteristics. The exhibited works emphasize cultural connotation and emotional expression, showcasing the efforts and aesthetic pursuit of Chinese and South Korean calligraphers in inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional cultures of the two countries.

On that day, Chinese and South Korean calligraphers also held an onsite exchange, where calligraphers showed their calligraphy techniques with writing brushes directly. Despite the language barrier, they have shown unity in aesthetic perception and humanistic feelings.

"The moon shines the same at the two sides of the mountain." The beautiful calligraphy works tell the story of the close relationship between the two neighboring countries, China and South Korea. These works also demonstrated the exchange and dialogue between the two countries across regions and cultures, creating a vivid picture of the beauty and harmony of Chinese and South Korean cultures.

青山一道同云雨：第十二回中韩书法交流展在潮州举行

8月5日，第十二回中韩书法交流展在潮州市美术馆开幕。在活动现场，一曲廿四节令鼓《生生不息》震撼上演，让现场的气氛立刻热烈起来。

随后上演的是由潮州市潮剧演员陈晓霞、郑淳表演的潮剧《春香传》选段《爱歌》，《春香传》是朝鲜人民家喻户晓的古典文学名著，许多戏剧都对其进行了改编和演绎，这种中韩文化相结合的表演形式，引来阵阵掌声。

国际书法艺术联合韩国本部湖南支会会长朴信根表示，中韩两国地缘相近，一衣带水，中韩书法交流展自从开始举办以来就一直是增进中韩友谊的桥梁与纽带。

中国广东省书法家协会与国际书法艺术联合韩国本部湖南支会于1997年结为兄弟友好协会，每两三年即有一次交流互访，至今27年从未间断。

据悉，本次展览中韩双方参展书家都拿出了精品力作，参展作品注重文化内涵和情感表达，艺术风貌清新雅逸、质朴自然，充分展示了中韩书法家在传承和弘扬两国优秀传统文化上的不懈努力和审美追求。

当天，中韩书法家还举行了笔会交流。笔会现场，书法家们纷纷引笔直书，虽然有语言上的隔阂，但在审美感受与人文情怀却达到了高度的统一。

“青山一道同云雨，明月何曾是两乡”，一幅幅精彩的书法作品诉说了中韩两国一衣带水的邻邦之情，也彰显两国跨越地域与文化的交流和对话，共同绘就中韩文化美美与共、各美其美的生动图景。
