On the morning of August 6th, the signing ceremony of the 2023 "Cloud Planting" initiative for the Fu'an Guava and the "Cooling Summer Plan" cultural experience day took place at the Penglin Ecological Park in Wanqinsha Town. With the illumination of the "Fu'an Guava Seedlings", the online platform for the "Cloud Planting" program for Fu'an Guava in Wanqinsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou, was officially launched.

During the event, the Fu'an Guava Industry Service Station in Wanqinsha, along with eight representatives from the Greater Bay Area Business Association, jointly signed a cooperative framework agreement. This agreement aims to empower and promote the development of the Fu'an Guava industry and explore innovative promotion methods. Additionally, five outstanding agricultural enterprises were recognized with the title of "Ruby Guava Cooperative Planting Base" at the event.

As per reports, currently, nearly 15,000 mu (66.7 hectares) of land in Wanqinsha Town are dedicated to the cultivation of Fu'an Guava. The cultivation is spread across various farms, resulting in the development of seven exceptional guava varieties. In 2022, Wanqinsha Guava was selected as the Guangdong Province's prestigious regional public brand for new outstanding agricultural products.

According to our sources, in July this year, Wanqinsha Town launched the "Cloud Planting" online platform for Fu'an Guava. This innovative approach combines the brand of Wanqinsha Guava with a new online planting application, pioneering a novel model of Internet-connected agriculture. Through this platform, users can easily join the "Wanqinsha Cloud Planting" initiative by accessing the WeChat mini program. They can then observe the growth cycle and data of the fruit trees in real time, experiencing the joy of cultivating guava trees.

As part of the event, attendees visited the Ruby Guava Cooperative Planting Base in Wanqinsha, where they personally planted guava seedlings and harvested mature guava fruits. This allowed them to document the "Growth Diary" of Wanqinsha Guava, further enhancing their understanding of the production cycle and the experience of fruit picking. Dai Xianyang, the Chairman of the Macao Live Streaming Association, noted that the diverse format of the event was highly beneficial and provided insights into various high-quality products. He expressed the intention to join the "Cloud Planting" movement, hoping for more collaborations in the future.

It has been learned that Wanqinsha Town plans to create the "Healthy Valley" water town cultural and leisure experience belt, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen "Twin Cities" urban-rural demonstration belt, and the southern ecological product aggregation zone. These initiatives will upgrade ecological resources into ecological products. Wanqinsha Town will focus on three dimensions: providing distinctive agricultural and fisheries products for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao area, high-quality ecological products, and short-distance cultural and tourism products. This strategic move aims to transform the town from an "agricultural town" to an "Agricultural Powerhouse."

“云种植”正式启动！广州南沙万顷沙向“农业强镇”迈进

8月6日上午，2023年万顷沙镇福安果“云种植”签约启动仪式暨“消暑计划”番石榴文化体验日活动，在万顷沙镇鹏林生态园举行。随着“福安果树苗”被点亮，广州市南沙区万顷沙镇福安果“云种植”线上小程序正式上线。

活动现场，广州市南沙区万顷沙福安果番石榴产业服务站（以下简称“服务站”）与8名大湾区商协会青年代表共同签署合作框架协议，为福安果番石榴产业发展升值赋能，探索宣传新模式。现场还授予5家优秀农企红宝石番石榴合作种植基地称号。

据悉，目前，万顷沙镇共种植番石榴近1.5万亩，种植农户分布广泛，累计形成7大优秀品种，2022年万顷沙番石榴入选广东省名特优新农产品区域公用品牌。

记者了解到，今年7月，万顷沙镇围绕万顷沙番石榴这一品牌农产品，创新打造万顷沙福安果“云种植”线上小程序，开创特色农业互联网+农业的新型种植模式。据悉，通过该平台，用户只需进入微信小程序，动动手指即可加入“万顷沙云种植”行列，实时观察果树生长周期和数据，体验种植番石榴树的乐趣。

本次活动还组织与会人员前往万顷沙红宝石番石榴合作种植基地，亲手种下番石榴树苗，并采摘成熟的番石榴果实，记录万顷沙番石榴“生长日记”，进一步了解农产品的生产周期和体验采摘乐趣。澳门直播协会理事长戴显扬表示，本次活动形式多样，令人受益良多，同时了解到更多的优质产品，下一步，也将加入“云种植”队伍，希望未来能够有更多的合作。

据悉，接下来万顷沙镇将打造“环健康谷”水乡文化休闲体验带、广深“双城”都市田园示范带、南部生态产品聚集区，把生态资源升级为生态产品。万顷沙镇将分为广深港澳提供特色农渔产品、优质生态产品、短途文旅产品等三个维度，推动“农业大镇”向“农业强镇”迈进。
