Blending the festive spirit of the Year of the Horse with cutting-edge AI exploration, the first Human-Robot Collaborative Spring Festival Gala aired at 8 p.m. on the third day of the Chinese New Year (February 19th, 2026). The gala, themed "Dreams Become Reality," weaves the timely question of how humans will coexist with robots into its stage productions through human-robot "co-creation."

In the martial arts showcase "Human-Robot Kung Fu: Cyber Jianghu," robots take on the role of mysterious challengers, sparring with young martial artists from the Greater Bay Area. It's a battle of Eastern martial arts versus precision mechanical moves—which will prevail? Robotic lion dancers perform the classic lion dance to bring to life the vibrant spirit of Lingnan culture, adding a cyber-aesthetic twist to traditional festive celebrations.

More than a dozen performances put robots' capabilities to the test, showcasing advances in motion control, emotional expression and multi-robot coordination. The broadcast featured on-location footage of the world's first robot 6S store—a "super complex" and the globe's largest robotics hub offering the most comprehensive full-lifecycle services. Here, industrial, commercial, and household robots were presented in action. Through the first-person perspective of Jani, a British experience ambassador, audiences got a firsthand look at the strength of China's robotics industry. The broadcast also unlocked a real-world showroom of future living, bringing China's intelligent manufacturing vividly within reach.
