Upon entering the Huizhou Gymnasium, prosthetic joints, smart hearing aids, and assistive devices are neatly displayed on both sides of the entrance. Assistive device company staff provide onsite guidance. Through physical demonstrations and interactive experiences, visitors can understand how assistive devices address the challenges faced by people with disabilities in their daily lives, mobility, and communication.

To cater to different groups, the venue has been equipped with more convenient accessibility facilities. For visually impaired individuals, voice prompt devices have been added to key areas such as the spectator area, athlete area, and VIP flow routes in the main stadium to announce information such as routes, steps, and entrances, forming a "digital tactile paving" together with the tactile paving. For individuals with physical disabilities, the stadium has developed an accessibility mini app program. For deaf and mute individuals, the competition area has launched a remote sign language service, where participants can scan a dedicated QR code to call a sign language interpreter for real-time translation.

Inside the competition venue, when visually impaired athletes enter, a group of special venue workers with their “intelligent guide dogs”, will provide assistance. These unique robotic dogs, all dressed in bright red, are primarily responsible for guiding athletes from the rest area to the competition zone and check-in area.

"The intelligent guide dogs utilize low-speed autonomous driving technologies such as radar, cameras, ultrasound, and combined algorithms to primarily address the travel difficulties faced by visually impaired individuals," explained Zang Lina, head of the intelligent guide dog team. She added that five intelligent guide dogs were deployed in the Huizhou competition area to replace traditional guide dogs and serve visually impaired athletes. She noted that compared to traditional guide dogs, intelligent guide dogs significantly reduce the adjustment period with users, achieving successful pairing on the first try. The intelligent guide dogs also feature voice interaction capabilities, selecting the shortest distance for route navigation and providing the user with the information via voice.

the warmth and care of the city beyond the competition . On the afternoon of the 10th, during a break between the competitions and awards ceremony, the Huizhou venue hosted a captivating Dragon Form Boxing performance, allowing athletes to gain a deeper understanding of Huizhou's millennia-old culture. Simultaneously, before each competition and during breaks, volunteers dressed as the mascots Xi Yangyang and He Le Rongrong interacted enthusiastically with the audience through their cute and adorable dance moves. They also collaborated with athletes to perform highly skilled jump rope routines, winning cheers and applause from everyone present, instantly raising the atmosphere and creating a vibrant ambiance.

Reporters learned that, in view of the special needs of the athletes, the Huizhou competition area has specially assigned two volunteers to each team to provide services at designated locations. From the moment the athletes get off the bus and enter the venue, to when they get back on the bus after the competition and return to their hotel, from warm-up to playing in the game, from watching the game in the spectator area to receiving their awards on the podium, the volunteers provide close and personalized services throughout the entire process. The volunteers also accompany the athletes throughout their needs, such as drinking water, going to the restroom, and watching (listening to) the game, providing them with professional and heartwarming services.

During the event, 182 volunteers from Huizhou University provided services such as athlete check-in, referee assistance, equipment support, athlete guidance, venue reception, sports presentation assistance, award ceremony assistance, and volunteer management in 15 different positions at transportation hubs such as Pingtan Airport, Huizhou North Railway Station, and Huizhou South Railway Station, as well as hotels such as Huizhou Hotel and Crowne Plaza Hotel, and Hall C of Huizhou Gymnasium. Their service hours exceeded 10,000 hours.

"Huizhou is truly a 'treasure land,' with comfortable weather and heartwarming service from staff and volunteers." "This time, the facilities are more technologically advanced and more considerate, even the cultural and creative products around the venue take into account the needs of disabled children," said Zhou Weilin, coach of the Chongqing team.

赛场内外贴心服务让赛事更暖心

走进惠州体育馆，在入口两侧，假肢关节、智能助听器、肢体类辅具整齐陈列。辅具企业工作人员现场指导，通过实物展示和互动体验，观众能了解辅具如何解决残疾人生活、出行、沟通难题。

针对不同群体，场馆内打造了更加便捷的无障碍设施。针对视障人士，主场馆的观众区、运动员区、贵宾流线等关键节点增设语音提示装置，播报路线、台阶、入口等信息，与盲道共同构建起“数字盲道”；针对肢残人士，体育馆开发了无障碍通行小程序；针对聋哑人士，赛区开通远程手语服务，扫描专属二维码即可呼叫手语老师实时翻译。

在赛场内，视力障碍运动员进场时，会有一群特殊的赛场工作者——智能导盲犬服务。这独特的机器狗“汪汪队”均身披小红衣，主要工作是引领运动员从休息室到赛区、检录区。

“智能导盲犬采用了雷达、相机、超声波及结合算法等低速无人驾驶技术，主要解决视障群体的出行难题。”智能导盲犬负责人臧丽娜介绍，本次惠州赛区共投入了5台智能导盲犬，替代传统导盲犬为视力障碍运动员服务。她提到，相较于传统导盲犬，智能导盲犬大大减少了与使用者的磨合周期，仅一次即可匹配成功。智能导盲犬还有语音交互功能，在路线导航时会选取最短的距离，并以语音方式告知使用者。

赛事期间，惠州致力于让运动员在比赛之余，享受来自这座城市的温度与关怀。10日下午，惠州赛区在赛事与颁奖间隙，通过精彩的龙形拳表演，让运动员们更加深入地了解惠州千年文化。同时，在每次开赛前和比赛间隙，都会有由志愿者扮演的吉祥物“喜洋洋”和“乐融融”，用可爱与萌宠的小舞步与观众热情互动，与运动员配合完成高技巧的跳绳表演，赢得现场所有人的欢呼与喝彩，让赛场气氛瞬间升温，营造热烈的氛围。

记者了解到，针对运动员的特殊性，惠州赛区专门为每个运动队安排两名志愿者定点跟队服务，从运动员下车进场馆，到结束比赛上车回酒店，从热身到上场比赛，从观众区观赛再到颁奖台领奖，志愿者全流程贴身服务，对于运动员喝水、上洗手间、观看（听）比赛等需求，志愿者也都全程陪同，为他们提供专业、暖心的服务。

赛事期间，来自惠州学院的182名赛会志愿者，在平潭机场、惠州北站、惠州南站等交通场站，惠州宾馆、皇冠假日酒店等驻地酒店以及惠州体育馆C馆的15类工作岗位上，提供运动员检录、裁判辅助、器材保障、运动员辅助引导、场站接待服务、体育展示辅助、颁奖协助、志愿者管理等服务，服务时长超过1万小时。

“惠州真是块‘宝地’，天气舒服，工作人员和志愿者的服务特别暖心。”“这次的设施科技含量更高、更贴心，连赛场周边的文创产品都考虑到残疾孩子的需求。”重庆队教练员周威林说。
