“Run a marathon, fall in love with a city.” This sentiment was vividly reflected throughout the Huizhou Marathon. Upholding the philosophy that “all who come to Huizhou are family,” the city once again demonstrated its renowned hospitality through cultural performances, thoughtful services, and comprehensive measures.

This year's marathon continues to build the "Hospitable Huizhou" marathon brand, rolling out a series of sincere "fan-pampering" and participants could use their race credentials for free entry to nearly 40 A-level tourist attractions in Huizhou from three days before to one day after the race. The pre-race expo featured a special "Dongpo Fun Fair," gathering Huizhou's characteristic delicacies. Along the route, 37 performance stations were set up, offering various forms of entertainment including song and dance, African drumming, lion dances, and cheerleading. The event also included a lucky draw with prizes covering Angela Zhang concert tickets, a coastal day tour, access to the 218-kilometer most beautiful tourism highway in the South Kunshan-Luofu Mountain leading area, and West Lake boat rides, among other surprises.

"As a widely popular mass sports event, marathons are not just a sports gathering converging passion, but also “a golden profile card“ showcasing urban landmarks and enhancing the city brand. We will persist in benefiting the people and promoting industries through the events, continuously stimulating urban vitality, boosting development momentumas well as showcasing an urban charm through sports events," introduced Liang Yuxuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Huizhou Municipal People's Government.

Participants enjoyed free access to tourist attractions, vibrant cultural performances along the course, and abundant post-race refreshments featuring local specialties. The organizing committee, in coordination with over 30 municipal departments, ensured seamless operations across safety, transportation, medical services, and logistics. The strengthening works included increasing police presence on the course and maintaining the course in a good order, optimizing emergency channels, setting up addirional medical points and deploying first-aid facilities and equipment along the course; from the tasks of adding temporary transportation shuttle lines to providing quality supplies during and after the race... Each department performed its duties, being　high level of cooperative and fully ensuring the smooth operation of every aspect of the event.

The organizing committee arranged "Little Lychee" volunteer groups at Pingtan Airport, Huizhou North Railway Station, Huizhou South Railway Station, and Yunshan Station to offer pick-up services for participants. During the event period December 26-28, runners could enjoy free rides on all city buses by showing their participant numbers, along with exclusive benefits such as accommodation vouchers, late hotel check-out, and early breakfast service.

The Huizhou Marathon is also a food tasting journey. "Don't just focus on personal Bests from the marathon, there is Relaxation, experience the relaxation of Master Dongpo had "Where you fall, there you feast." The post-race area offered tables of supplies),　over 25,000 servings of , local signature foods such as Hengli Soup Noodles, A Ma Jiao, Salt-Baked Chicken, Roast Goose and more will be served after the race.

This year's event will also present all participants with content-rich race packs. After the race, lucky participants will be drawn from among the finishers to receive official licensed merchandised of the 15th National Games. The additional new heartwarming arranagemen dedicated to make every runner feel at home and fully enjoy Huizhou's warmth.

Furthermore, from December 2025 to March 2026, Huizhou will host nearly a hundred series of activities to welcome the New Year and celebrate the Lantern Festival. These include the popular series of "Hui New Year," "Beautiful Night Scenes in Hui" , marketing boosting promtions on cultural tourism to encourage local consumptions and "Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage Lantern Festival" grand parades. Through these diversified, high-quality events and activities, sports become a trend belended into local cultureto make the daily life more brightened and together forming Huizhou's most distinct urban characteristic. It is allowing more people to know Huizhou follow by loving the place, and making the integration of culture, tourism, and sports a strong driving force promoting the high-quality urban development.

Currently, the "Enjoy Warm Winter, Happy Tour in Huizhou" cultural tourism and sport consumption season has grandly commenced. The national-level cultural and tourism nighttime consumption cluster zone covering Shuidong Street and the national-level tourism leisure block covering Zhuwu Lane where simultaneously launched the series of "Beautiful Night Scenes in Hui"—66 exciting contents including immersive Dongpo performances, Song Dynasty-style elegant gatherings, and night markets will continue until the New Spring. Huizhou has prepared over 5 million RMB worth of cultural tourism and sports consumption vouchers covering hotel accommodation, scenic area visits, and cultural entertainment and movie viewing, sincerely inviting all runners to join all these cultural tourism and sports intergrated events covering　millennia of cultural heritage, Lingnan vitality, and the poetry of lakes and mountains.

好客惠州全城暖｜惠州马拉松

跑一场马拉松，爱上一座城。

“新客家、老客家，来到惠州是一家”是惠州迎客的一贯理念，在去年首届惠州马拉松现场，惠东盖子狮、小金口麒麟舞、东江舞龙队、“小荔枝”萌宝醒狮队等特色表演，给不少跑友留下了深刻的印象，惠州热情周到的服务，也赢得了跑友的广泛好评。

本届马拉松，惠州持续打造“好客惠州”马拉松品牌，推出一系列诚意满满的“宠粉”福利：选手可凭参赛凭证在赛前3天至赛后1天免费游览惠州近40家A级景区。赛前博览会将特设“东坡乐事市集”，汇聚惠州特色美食，沿线设置37个展演节目，涵盖歌舞、非洲鼓、醒狮、啦啦队等多种形式。赛事还设有幸运抽奖环节，奖品涵盖张韶涵演唱会门票、滨海一日游、环南昆山－罗浮山引领区218公里最美旅游公路及西湖游船等多重惊喜。

“马拉松作为广受群众欢迎的体育赛事，不仅是一场汇聚热爱的体育盛宴，更是展示城市风貌、提升城市品牌的金色名片。我们将坚持以赛惠民、以赛兴业，通过体育赛事不断激发城市活力、增添发展动力、展现城市魅力。”惠州市政府副秘书长梁雨轩介绍，为办好本届赛事，惠州组建了涵盖竞赛组织、安全保障、医疗保障、宣传推广、后勤服务等多个专项工作组，全市30个部门协同联动，从增加赛道警力、维持赛道良好秩序，到做好应急通道优化、赛道医疗布点和急救设施设备投放；从增设临时交通接驳线，再到提供赛时及赛后优质补给……各部门各司其职，协同配合，全力保障赛事各个环节顺畅运行。

组委会将在平潭机场、惠州北站、惠州南站及云山站安排“小荔枝”志愿者为选手提供接站服务。赛事期间（2025年12月26日—28日），选手凭号码布可免费乘坐全市公交车，并可享受住宿消费券、酒店延迟退房及提前早餐等专属服务。

惠马也是美食之旅，“不卷PB，卷松弛感”，感受东坡先生“在哪跌倒，在哪吃饱”的松弛。完赛区设置了丰富的补给，将提供超2.5万份赛后美食，包括横沥汤粉、阿嫲叫、盐焗鸡、烧鹅等特色美食。

本届赛事还将为所有选手奉上内容丰富的参赛包。赛后，将从完赛选手中抽取幸运选手，赠送第十五届全运会官方特许商品。多项举措暖心叠加，致力让每一位跑者宾至如归、尽享惠州热情。

此外，在2025年12月至2026年3月期间，惠州开展近百场迎新春、庆元宵系列活动，包括备受群众喜爱的“惠新年”系列活动、“夜色惠精彩”文旅街区促消费系列活动、“多彩非遗闹元宵”大巡游等，通过这些多元化、高品质的赛事与活动，让运动成为风尚，让文化点亮生活，共同组成惠州最鲜明的城市气质，让更多人认识惠州、爱上惠州，也让文旅体融合成为推动城市高质量发展的强劲动力。

当前，“粤享暖冬 乐游惠州”文旅体消费季已盛情启幕。国家级文化和旅游夜间消费集聚区水东街、国家级旅游休闲街区祝屋巷，同步启幕“夜色惠精彩”系列活动——东坡沉浸式演出、宋式雅集、不夜市集等66项精彩内容持续至新春。惠州备下超500万元的文旅体消费券，覆盖酒店住宿、景区游玩、文娱观影，诚邀各位跑友，共赴这场融千年文脉、岭南烟火与湖山诗意于一体的文旅体盛宴。
