“This was my first time participating in the Huizhou Marathon, and the enthusiasm of the spectators was truly inspiring,” said Wei Jieting from Shunde, Foshan, winner of the women’s full marathon. She noted that the lively atmosphere significantly boosted her performance and that the well-prepared supplies along the course allowed her to fully experience the warmth and hospitality of Huizhou.

“这是我第一次参加惠州马拉松，惠州的观众真的好热情，有些还会跟着一起跑，比起平时训练，状态被带起来了，不会那么枯燥。”来自佛山顺德的韦洁婷告诉记者，自己是从去年5月份开始加入马拉松的队伍，本次能够冲线成功，内心非常开心。她表示，惠州马拉松赛道上的补给非常到位，不仅有特色的农产品，还有各式点心，深深感受到了惠州人的热情。
