On June 30th, the online voting for the 2025 edition of the "Top Eight Sights of Guangzhou" officially concluded. Over the course of five and a half days, the event received a total of 13.788 million votes. The top eight destinations in terms of votes were: Maofeng Mountain Forest Park, Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou Sunac Land, Romantic Harbor, Baishui Village Waterfall of Zengcheng, Baiyun Mountain, Chimelong Guangzhou Resort, and the Canton Tower Tourist Area.

Jointly organized by Yangcheng Evening News Group and Guangzhou Daily Group, the campaign kicked off on April 11th, aiming to celebrate the upcoming 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games, while showcasing Guangzhou's rich cultural and tourism resources. 

Over 70 destinations across the city were in the running, including long-established attractions such as the Canton Tower, Yuexiu Park, and Baiyun Mountain, as well as new landmarks like Yongqingfang in Xiguan, Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station, and the Guangzhou branch of the China National Archives of Publications and Culture.

The online voting portal opened at noon on June 25th and quickly gained widespread participation from the public. By midnight on June 30th, after five and a half days of voting, the organizing committee had received a total of 13.788 million votes. The destinations ranked in the top eight were:

●Maofengshan Forest Park (1.631 million votes)

●Yuexiu Park (1.505 million votes)

●Guangzhou Sunac Land (1.288 million votes)

●Romantic Harbor (1.221 million votes)

●Baishui Village Waterfall of Zengcheng (905,000 votes)

●Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area (845,000 votes)

●Chimelong Guangzhou Resort (683,000 votes)

●Canton Tower Tourist Area (386,000 votes)

According to the organizing committee, several follow-up procedures will take place after the online voting, including expert field research, a final review session, naming discussions, and an additional round of online voting for the final names. Based on a combination of expert evaluation and public votes, the ultimate list of the 2025 "Top Eight Sights of Guangzhou" will be officially announced on August 1st.

网络投票近1379万张！“羊城八景”这些景点位列前八

6月30日，2025年“羊城八景”网络投票收官，五天半内共收1378.8万张选票。帽峰山森林公园、越秀公园、广州融创文旅城、浪漫港湾、白水仙瀑、白云山、长隆旅游度假区、广州塔旅游区位列票数前八。

此次评选由羊城晚报与广州日报报业集团联合主办，4月11日启动，旨在迎接十五运会和残特奥会，推介广州文旅资源。全市70多个景点参评，既有广州塔、越秀公园、白云山等老牌景点，也有西关永庆坊、广州白云站、国家版本馆等新地标。

6月25日12时，“羊城八景”评选活动开启网络投票通道，受到了广大市民群众热捧。截至6月30日24时，在为期五天半时间的网络投票中，活动组委会共收到投票1378.8万张，帽峰山森林公园（163.1万）、越秀公园（150.5万）、广州融创文旅城（128.8万）、浪漫港湾（122.1万）、白水仙瀑（90.5万）、白云山风景名胜区（84.5万）、广州长隆旅游度假区（68.3万）、广州塔旅游区（38.6万）分列投票数前八。

据组委会介绍，网络投票后还将开展专业调研、终审座谈、命名及名称网络投票等环节，综合专家评分与网络投票确定最终结果，8月1日正式公布2025年“羊城八景”。
