From November 12th to 17th, the 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) will be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong. For this year, a new second exhibition area in Lianzhou, Doumen District has been designated for the demonstration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned surface vessels (USVs). On the morning of November 10th, the large unmanned combat vessel, JARI-USV-A, also known as "Orca," made its public debut at the second exhibition area.

The "Orca" is a large unmanned combat vessel developed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited. Measuring 58 meters in length, 23 meters in width, and 4 meters in depth, it has a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles. This 500-ton-class high-speed stealth vessel is designed for autonomous surface combat.

With a trimaran hull and hybrid diesel-electric dual-mode propulsion, the "Orca" can operate independently or in coordination with naval fleets for extended-range missions. It is capable of unmanned autonomous combat capabilities, such as beyond-visual-range strikes, air defense and missile interception, submarine detection and engagement, and multi-domain operations. Additionally, it can carry UAVs and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) to conduct cross-domain three-dimensional operations.

500吨级无人作战艇“虎鲸号”全球首曝！亮相航展！

11月12日-17日，第15届中国航展将在广东珠海举行。本届航展在珠海市斗门莲洲全新打造了演示无人机、无人船的第二展区。11月10日上午，大型无人作战艇“虎鲸号”在第二展区公开亮相。

据悉，“虎鲸号”全称JARI-USV-A，是由中国船舶集团研发的大型无人作战艇。“虎鲸号”总长58米，型宽23米，型深4米，续航能力超4000海里，是一型高速隐身的500吨级水面无人作战装备。

“虎鲸号”采用三体船体和柴电双模推进，可独立或伴随舰艇编队实施中远海作战，具备超视距火力打击、防空反导及搜潜攻潜等无人自主作战能力，并可搭载无人机、无人潜航器实施跨域立体作战。
