On the evening of November 9th, 2024, the Guangzhou International Lights Festival (the "Lights Festival") opened with a breathtaking 360-degree light display over Huacheng Square and the Canton Tower. The theme of the Lights Festival inspired by artificial intelligence, showcases a futuristic vision of an intelligent city. The festival, which runs until the evening of November 18th, follows a "1+2" format, featuring a central main venue on the new central axis and two sub-venues, which offers a rich and diverse viewing experience for both locals and tourists.

At the main venue on Huacheng Square, the highlight installation, "Flare Fusion" is designed around a sundial, artistically depicting the passage of time. Meanwhile, at the Haixinsha venue, interactive performance art such as "New Colorful Stage", "Light Dance Envoy", and "Rhythm", combined with the method of "light and shadow + technology + entertainment performance", captivated audience with live performances including song and dance, band shows, and piano solos, further enriching the festival experience.

The Lights Festival features a wide array of imaginative and futuristic light displays. Among the standout works is "Smart Road", with its "Digital Street" allowing visitors to immerse themselves in future lifestyles and consumer scenarios. "Smart Gateway", with its "Space Gate", transports audience into a "four-dimensional space" that engages with the future world. Other works, like "Triple Illusions" and "AI-CITY", employ sci-fi laser effects and virtual reality to deliver a stunning visual experience.

Many citizens and visitors commented that the festival's layout was highly logical, taking them on a journey from abstract concepts to tangible experiences, and helping them better understand the themes and creative ideas behind the displays. Ms. Chen, a resident of Xintang Town in Zengcheng District, brought her three children specifically to see the light show. She was particularly impressed by the "City View" installation at the entrance and noted that the light festival provides a platform for showcasing technological innovation and artistic creation to the public.

11月9日晚，2024年广州国际灯光节在花城广场和广州塔上空以360度环状灯光带震撼开幕，本届灯光节以“人工智能”为创意来源，展现了一个未来感十足的智能城市图景。本届灯光节将持续至11月18日晚，灯光节采用“1+2”模式，即一个新中轴主会场和两个分会场，为市民和游客提供了丰富的观赏体验。

在新中轴主会场的花城广场，主作品《融光》以日晷为设计原型，艺术化地呈现了时间流转的轨迹。而在海心沙会场，各种互动演出作品如《新彩舞台》《光舞使者》《律动》等，通过“光影+科技+艺术展演”的模式，为观众带来了现场歌舞、乐队、钢琴独奏等精彩表演，进一步丰富了游玩体验。

灯光节上，各种充满创意和未来感的灯光作品令人目不暇接。其中，《智·路》的“数字街区”让市民身临其境地体验了未来生活和消费场景，而《智·引》的“空间大门”则引领观众进入了一个与未来世界对话的“四维空间”。此外，《三重幻境》和《AI-CITY》等作品也通过科幻激光和虚拟世界等技术手段，为观众带来了震撼的视觉体验。

许多市民和游客纷纷表示，本届灯光节的参观路线非常有逻辑性，从抽象到具体，让他们更好地理解了灯光节的主题和创意。来自增城区新塘镇的陈小姐带着三个孩子特地前来观看灯光秀，她对入口处的《瞰城》作品印象深刻，认为灯光节为市民提供了一个展示科技创新和艺术创作的平台。
