In the early hours of August 21st, over 30 athletes from Guangdong arrived in Guangzhou after attending the summary meeting of the Chinese sports delegation for the Paris Olympics held in Beijing the previous day. Guangdong athletes won eight golds, four silvers, and four bronzes at the Paris Olympics, setting a new record for the number of champions and leading the nation in gold medal contribution. As China strides towards becoming a sports power and a healthy China, Guangdong is poised to advance with determination both on and off the field, with Guangdong athletes set to deliver even more thrilling and impressive performances.

At the Paris Olympics, Guangdong athletes not only won gold medals but also demonstrated remarkable spirit. Veteran diver Xie Siyi overcame injuries to secure a consecutive gold medal in the men's 3m springboard event. Twin sisters Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi, balancing both team and duet events, focused on the team competition, ultimately securing China's first Olympic gold in the team event and setting a record in the duet. Race walker Liu Hong, despite a sudden leg injury, completed the race, while wrestler Feng Ziqi, injured in the eye during the bronze medal match, continued without flinching, and fencer Mo Ziwei pressed on after being struck in the face. Their dedication and selflessness in representing China are truly inspiring.

At the Paris Olympics, Chinese athletes showcased not only their patriotism and unwavering commitment to bringing glory to China but also their tenacity and indomitable spirit. They demonstrated valuable qualities of teamwork and unity while reflecting the confident, optimistic, and friendly nature of the Chinese young generation. Among them, the performances of Guangdong athletes were particularly impressive.

Quan Hongchan, with her graceful and relaxed personality and diving style, is full of affinity, and her joy even inspires athletes from other countries. During the interview, Chen Yiwen effortlessly switched between Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and her moment on the championship podium became a celebrated highlight. Chen Qingchen and her partner Jia Yifan, who claimed the top spot in women's doubles badminton, turned a decade of ups and downs into a light-hearted and even amusing story through Chen's distinctive expression. In men's doubles badminton, Liang Weikeng and his partner Wang Chang brought a unique optimism and vibrancy to the young generation, which frequently captured attention. Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen, who teamed up temporarily, won China's first silver medal in mixed doubles tennis, and their easygoing and composed demeanor became a cherished tale of the Paris Olympics.

With the new Olympic cycle underway, China's sports teams are gearing up for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. Guangdong will also host the 15th National Games in 2025, while actively promoting a deeper integration of national fitness and health.

21日凌晨，30余名广东健儿参加完前一天在北京召开的巴黎奥运会中国体育代表团总结大会后抵达广州。广东健儿在巴黎奥运会上夺得8金4银4铜，夺冠人数创造了历史新高，金牌贡献率位居全国各省市第一。在我国向着建设体育强国、健康中国的目标不断迈进的征程中，广东必将在赛场内外继续昂扬进取、奋勇争先，南粤健儿也定将谱写更多精彩纷呈、令人击节的赛场新篇。

巴黎奥运会上，广东健儿既见金牌更见精神。跳水“老将”谢思埸克服伤病，实现了奥运会跳水男子单人三米跳板项目的蝉联；双胞胎姐妹王柳懿、王芊懿在身兼集体和双人两个项目的情况下，全力投入集体项目，最终不但帮助集体夺得奥运首金，在双人项目也创纪录夺冠；37岁的竞走运动员刘虹在腿部突发伤病的情况下坚持走完全程，摔跤运动员冯紫琪在铜牌战上眼角受伤却浑然不觉，击剑运动员莫梓维被对手刺中面部依旧坚持比赛……代表国家出战的健儿们对于体育竞技的忘我精神令人赞叹。

在巴黎奥运会上，中国运动员既展现了祖国至上、为国争光的赤子情怀和顽强拼搏、自强不息的必胜信念，也展现了团结协作、并肩作战的宝贵品质，还展现了中国青年一代自信乐观、热情友好的阳光气质。其中，广东运动员的表现同样令人们印象深刻。

全红婵和她的跳水风格同样轻盈、松弛的个性，充满了亲和力，她的快乐，让国外运动员都备受感染；采访区的陈艺文在流利的普通话、粤语和英语之间“无缝切换”，跳上冠军领奖台的瞬间也成为让人津津乐道的“名场面”；陈清晨和队友贾一凡登上羽毛球女双最高领奖台，十年间的起起伏伏，在陈清晨富于个性的表达中变得风轻云淡，甚至令人忍俊不禁；羽毛球男双，梁伟铿和队友王昶有着带有年轻一代独特印记的乐观和阳光，这也让他们频频出圈；王欣瑜和张之臻在临时组队的情况下，成功夺得中国体育首枚网球混双银牌，两人的随性和从容，也在巴黎奥运上传为美谈……

如今，中国军团新的奥运周期已经开启，广东体育不但要开始为2028年洛杉矶奥运会备战，还将作为东道主的一员迎来2025年的第十五届全国运动会，更要推动全民健身和全民健康深度融合。
