On July 1st, the preliminary list of directors selected for the "2024 Maritime Guangdong Young Director Support Program" (hereinafter referred to as the Maritime Guangdong Program), hosted by the Yangcheng Evening News Group, was announced. 20 (groups of) young directors from home and abroad were selected in the first round, including many of the leading members of the past movie masterpieces. In mid-July, they will gather at the Langtou village in Tanbu town, Huadu district, Guangzhou, entering the Maritime Training Camp to prepare for the final review. Up to 10 (groups) of these creators will ultimately receive financial support ranging from 50,000 to 200,000 RMB, aimed at producing thematic short films.
1.Bu Jingwei
Bu Jingwei is a Chinese director and screenwriter. He earned his master's degree in film production from the ArtCenter College of Design (USA). With a dual background in theatre and cinema, he actively explores the boundaries of artistic integration. He advocates for the social impact of visual storytelling and firmly believes that capturing the eternal essence of filmmaking lies in crystallizing fleeting emotional moments. His short film "A River Stifled" was nominated by the 21st Vienna Shorts; "Lily", a short shot on an iPhone, won awards at various international film festivals, including LAFA and the International Independent Film Awards. The feature film he wrote, "Home Coming", earned a nomination for Best Screenplay at the 18th China Changchun Film Festival Golden Deer Awards.
2.Bi Shanyi
Bi Shanyi, graduated from Beijing Film Academy in directing. His short film "Man on the List" won the first prize at the 1st Sina Micro Film Festival. His graduation film was "Farewell Summer". "Karma Is A Fish" won the Jury's Special Mention Award at the FIRST Film Festival.
3.Chen Jiaxiang
Chen Jiaxiang, an independent filmmaker, graduated from Nanfang College·Guangzhou and Shih Hsin University in Taiwan, China. He studied under Li Xiangxiu, the best documentary director of the Golden Horse Award, and directed the short films "Fish", "After September", "Withering", and "Eating Apples, Not Pears".
4.Chen Zhilin
Born and raised in Guangzhou, Chen Zhilin comes from a traditional Chinese family and benefited as the youngest son. He graduated from Emerson College with an MFA degree in Film & Media Art. He is passionate about using moving images to explore the fluidity of space and the independent individuals navigating it within the context of urban development. "The Little Shrimp" is his debut feature.
5.Dai Xiaolu
Dai Xiaolu graduated from the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy. She worked as an assistant director in the documentary film "I Wish I Knew" (2009). In 2017, she worked as an assistant director in the film "The Calming". After graduation, she traveled a great deal and liked to volunteer in China and overseas. In addition, she has made television programs for a living. Her latest short film "Joy Mom and I" in 2022 was selected for the "Lit Light" project.
6.Hu Qiao
Hu Qiao, born in 1992 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a co-founder of "Shudaoshi Design Shanghai". He has a background in creative roles and has previously worked extensively at 4A advertising agencies. In 2019, he starred in the film "A New Old Play". Starting in 2021, he began creating short films such as "Jiangling Romance""Shanghai Reset"and "Radio Pothead". His works have been selected for and screened at various domestic and international film festivals, including the BISFF and the FIRST International Film Festival.
7.Lin Binghan
Lin Binghan, from Zhanjiang, Guangdong, studied for his undergraduate degree at the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College. He later received a full scholarship from director Jia Zhangke and studied at the Shanghai Vancouver Film School. He was selected for the 14th FIRST Training Camp and his short film "The Trapped Pig" was nominated at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2023. He is dedicated to exploring the history of Guangzhou Bay and creating visually poetic and subtly empathetic cinematic works.
8.Li Jingyu
Li Jingyu was born in 1996 and raised in Guangzhou. Since college, Li Jingyu has been committed to creating works deeply rooted in Guangdong, actively developing scripts for films in Cantonese and Hakka dialects. He focuses on the lives and emotions of urban residents, as well as the evolution of Guangzhou through the ages. His films have been selected for and received awards at various festivals including the 86358 Short Film Festival, World Nomad Short Film Exhibition, Shenzhen Youth Film Festival, and Wuhan Photography Art Center.
9.Liu Quanwen
Liu Quanwen has a master's degree in Literature and Director at Beijing Film Academy. The director's feature film "Starlight Moment" won a special mention award in the venture capital production at the Shanghai International Film Festival, the screenwriter's feature film "Distance" won the humanistic spirit award at the Pingyao International Film Festival, and the screenwriter's feature film "Swamp" won the Best Feature Screenplay Award at the Beijing Film Academy. Shoot the short film "The Moon in the Tang Dynasty" for the "Lit Light" project.
10.Li Wanyu
Li Wanyu is a screenwriter and director. Her works include "To the Sea", "Girl’s Summer", "Border", "You light up my life" and so on. She has been nominated for the Hainan International Film Festival, the Hong Kong Chinese Documentary Film Festival, the 86358 Short Film Festival, and so on.
11.Mu Ming
Mu Ming was born in 1997 in Huazhou, Maoming. After withdrawing from university, he spent four years in Beijing. During that period, he worked at a prestigious film and television group, directing a series of advertisements for local cultural and tourism bureaus, providing advertising services for top brands and celebrity artists as well as involving in the production of several films. He is also a new media KOL in the film and television industry, an independent and free-spirited Capricorn, and a cat owner with a diverse array of hobbies, including martial arts and dance.
12.Mi Ma&Zheng Miaoxin
Mi Ma
Mi Ma, 25 years old, director, screenwriter, and editor. He graduated from the Communication University of Zhejiang, majoring in editing, and is currently studying at Shanghai Film Academy, Shanghai University majoring in MFA directing. He has directed short films such as "Get Loose", and is the assistant director of the film "The Wind is Unstoppable". His creation focuses on exploring modern relationships and urban changes.
Zheng Miaoxin
Zheng Miaoxin, 25 years old, was born in Shantou, Guangdong Province. He is a director, screenwriter, and colorist. He is studying at the Shanghai Film Academy, majoring in film directing, exchanging at Shih Hsin University, Taiwan, China. His creations are related to feature films, documentaries, music videos, and fashion short films. He is good at the narration of visualization, and his work has been shortlisted in several domestic and international film festivals.
13.Ren Honglin
Ren Honglin, born in Chongqing, China, is an independent director, and screenwriter. He expects his film to show restraint, extension, thoughtful expression, and a story that does not pursue a deliberate plot.
14.Tim Wong
Tim Wong was born in Dongguan in 1989, then moved to Zhejiang Province. In 2011, after graduating from the Communication University of Zhejiang, he worked for Zhejiang Satellite TV and began creating documentaries. For over ten years, he has been experiencing the era and expressing himself through documentaries. He started creating films in 2018 and tried his best to be a serious creator.
15.Robin Yung
Robin Yung, director, and producer, graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University School of Film with an MFA and was a finalist in the 17th First Training Camp as a producer. His short film "The Best is Yet to Come" (2024) was selected for the 24th International Student Recommended Films at the 2024 Beijing International Film Festival. His produced work "Princess Ariel" (2024) was nominated for the 2024 Shanghai International Film Festival. He enjoys capturing the corners of the city.
16.Wang Pengwei
Wang Pengwei, from Shenzhen, is a filmmaker. His graduate thesis film "A Young Tough" was awarded the Michael Chapman Student Heritage Award for Best Cinematography in 2020 by The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). He was a member of the Youth Jury Panel at the 4th Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival. His first feature film "Poco a Poco" is currently in the post-production process.
17.Ye Siyu
Ye Siyu, a mixed-race person of Chinese and Syrian descent, grew up in Shenzhen. She is a young director and screenwriter who studied drama and film directing at the Central Academy of Drama for her undergraduate degree. She has experience in filming and producing multiple short films, including "Red is the Warmest Color", "Kiss of the Spider Woman", "Tame me if you can", and "Sisters". Her works have been selected for the Youth Drama Festival on May 23rd, Aranya Migratory Bird 300, and the NYFF Youth Film Exhibition.
18.Zhang Di
Zhang Di is a postgraduate student at the University of Southern California who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama and the Beijing Film Academy. Her films focus on children, women, and education. She worked as a visual designer for "Shadow", and then as a screenwriter with Legendary Pictures and Emperor Entertainment Group. Her film "Non-Stop Station" was selected for the Golden Rooster Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival, and Macao International Movie Festival.
19.Zhang Yichuan
Zhang Yichuan, director, curator, and college lecturer. He has lived in Italy for nearly 10 years and now lives and works in Beijing and Shenzhen, primarily engaged in the production of narrative-based advertisement projects. His research focuses on Italian young cinema of the 1960s. His filmmaking practices explore social realities within the context of modernity.
20.Zhou Xiaoting
Zhou Xiaoting graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University, Academy of Flim, with a Master of Fine Arts in Film, Television, and Digital Media.The feature film project "The Most Darkling Moment of Mine" was shortlisted for the top 10 of the 8th CFDG Young Director Support Program in 2023. The short film "When Darkness Comes" has been shortlisted for several independent short film festivals. She has participated in the directorial teamwork of a few theatrical films, with rich on-site experience.

2024山海计划20强名单揭晓
7月1日,由羊城晚报报业集团主办的2024“向山海走去”青年导演创作扶持计划(以下简称山海计划)公布初审入围导演名单,20位(组)来自海内外的青年导演首轮入选,其中不乏过往大银幕佳作的主创成员。7月中旬,他们将齐聚广州市花都区炭步镇塱头古村,进入山海训练营备战复审。最终将有至多10位(组)创作者将获得5万至20万元不等的扶持资金,用于主题短片的拍摄和制作。
1.步京委
步京委,青年导演、编剧。硕士毕业于美国艺术中心设计学院电影制作专业。戏剧、电影双向的教育背景使他积极探索艺术融合的边界,捍卫影像的社会性,擅长用细节捕捉人物之间微妙的情感。其导演作品《凌汛》入围第21届维也纳国际短片电影节主竞赛单元;其在美全程用iPhone拍摄的短片《莉莉》获得了包括洛杉矶国际电影节、国际独立短片电影节等多个国际电影节奖项。其编剧作品《万里归途》提名第18届中国长春电影节金鹿奖最佳编剧奖。
2.闭善益
毕业于北京电影学院导演系。在校短片作品《牛皮纸》曾获新浪首届微电影大赛冠军。毕业联合作业《七月流火》。《厄运锦鲤》获FIRST青年电影展超短片单元评委会特别推荐奖。
3.陈嘉祥
独立电影工作者。毕业于广州南方学院和台湾世新大学。师从金马奖最佳纪录片导演李香秀。执导短片《上不了岸的鱼》《流火记》,纪录短片《凋零》《吃苹果不吃梨》。
4.陈志霖
广州人,硕士毕业于爱默生学院电影与媒体艺术专业。热衷于通过影像探索在城市发展下空间的流动性变化及其中游走的独立个体。《何虾仔》是他的长片处女作。
5.戴晓璐
毕业于北京电影学院导演系。2009年担任纪录片《海上传奇》副导演;2017年担任剧情片《平静》副导演。期间,她长期旅行、做义工,或为电视台拍摄纪录片栏目等。2022年拍摄短片《岛》入选正午阳光“光合计划”。
6.胡峤
上海数到十设计联合创始人,曾长期以创意身份供职于4A广告公司。2019年参演电影《椒麻堂会》,2021年开始创作短片《江陵一日还》《二次校准》《四川怪话FM》,作品曾在北京国际短片联展、FIRST青年影展等海内外电影节展入围及放映。
7.林秉翰
广东湛江人,本科在北师大-香港浸会大学联合国际学院就读,后获贾樟柯导演“优才计划”全额奖学金,于上海温哥华电影学院进修。入围第十四届FIRST训练营,拍摄作品《困兽》入围法国克莱蒙费朗国际短片电影节。致力于挖掘广州湾历史,创作富有人文诗意和微妙共情的影像作品。
8.李景宇
1996年出生成长于广州。大学以来坚持广东在地创作,积极开发粤语、客语方言电影的剧本。影片多表现城市居民情感生活及广州城市在时代中的变迁。个人影片曾在86358贾家庄短片周、世界游牧短片展、深圳青年影像节、武汉影像艺术中心等多个节展入选和获奖。
9.刘权文
北京电影学院文学系、导演系硕士。导演长片《再见萤火虫》获上海国际电影节创投制作中特别提及奖,编剧长片《附近的星辰》获平遥国际电影展创投人文精神奖,编剧长片《沼泽》获北京电影学院金字奖最佳长片剧本。导演正午阳光“光合计划”短片《松间明月》。
10.李婉钰
青年编剧、导演。作品有《出海》《盛夏》《交界》《你点亮了我的人生》等。曾入围海南岛国际电影节、香港华语纪录片电影节、86358 贾家庄短片周等。
11.牧明
生于1997年,茂名化州人。肄业北漂四年,期间任职于北京某影视集团旗下,拥有地方文旅局、一线品牌和明星艺人等广告服务经验。参与多部电影长片制作。影视新媒体KOL,独立野派的摩羯“铲屎官”,爱好武术舞蹈等。
12.宓马&郑淼鑫
宓马,25周岁,导演,编剧,剪辑师。本科毕业于浙江传媒学院制作系,上海电影学院MFA导演专业在读。个人导演短片作品《雨天散步》等,长片电影《生息之地》执行导演。个人创作注重探讨现代关系与城市变化。
郑淼鑫,25周岁,广东汕头人,导演、编剧、调色师,上海电影学院MFA导演专业在读,现于台湾世新大学电影创作组交换,个人创作涉及剧情片、纪录片、音乐影像及时尚短片,善于视觉化叙事,作品入围多个国内外影展。
13.任泓霖
任泓霖,重庆人,独立编剧、导演。对于影像的思考,希望是节制的、延伸的,有准确的表达和不为情节而情节的故事。
14.王庭
王庭,1989年出生于东莞,后迁居浙江。2011年,从浙江传媒学院毕业后进入浙江卫视,开始纪录片的创作。此后十余年,一直以纪录片的方式感受时代、书写表达。2018年开始剧情片创作,努力做一个严肃的创作者。
15.翁梓灏
导演、制片人。毕业于香港浸会大学电影学院MFA,17届FIRST训练营入围制片,导演短片《最好的尚未来临》(2024)入围2024北京国际电影节第24届国际大学生选片推荐 ,制片人作品《游泳的好日子》(2024)入围2024年上海国际电影节。喜欢记录城市的角落。
16.王鹏为
王鹏为,深圳人,电影工作者。毕业于查普曼电影学院导演系。其自编自导毕业短片《然》获得2020年美国摄影师协会(ASC)Michael Chapman传承奖-最佳学生摄影。其自编自导长片处女作品目前正在后期中。
17.叶思妤
叶思妤,广东与叙利亚混血儿,成长于深圳。青年导演、编剧,本科就读于中央戏剧学院戏剧影视导演专业。具有多部短片拍摄制作经验:编剧/导演《红色是最温暖的颜色》《蜘蛛女之吻》《真实宠物》《姊妹》等多部短片。作品入围5·23青年戏剧节、阿那亚候鸟300、噪点NYFF青年影像展等。
18.张迪
张迪是南加州大学研究生,毕业于中央戏剧学院和北京电影学院。她擅长视觉叙事,关注儿童、女性和教育题材。曾在《影》担任视觉设计,后为编剧与传奇影业和英皇娱乐集团合作。长片《前程似锦的夏天》入围金鸡电影节、北京电影节和澳门国际电影节。
19.张艺川
张艺川,导演、策展人及高校教师。曾求学生活于意大利近十年,现居深圳与北京,主要从事故事类广告项目的拍摄。个人研究方向为意大利六十年代青年电影,影像创作关注现代性语境中的社会现实。
20.周晓婷
周晓婷,来自广东深圳,硕士毕业于香港浸会大学电影学院 MFA。长片项目《我的至暗时刻》入围 2023 年第 8 届CFDG“青葱计划” 10强;短片《黑夜走向我》曾入围多个国内短片节,多次参与电影制作导演组工作,有丰富的现场经验。
