On June 13th, Guangzhou College of Commerce held a signing ceremony in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, for a cooperation project with Singapore Educare Global Academy. It marks the establishment of the university's first overseas educational center. The cooperation project will see both institutions jointly offering courses in Singapore. These courses will incorporate significant Chinese elements, aiming to cultivate bilingual professionals with an international perspective and adept cross-cultural communication skills.

During the signing ceremony, Ma Weilan, President of Guangzhou College of Commerce, briefly outlined the college's achievements in faculty strength, campus development, and international school running. She highlighted that Singapore Educare Global Academy has garnered widespread acclaim internationally for its cutting-edge programs in human resources, business science, and hotel management, as well as its "AI+" education model.

"This collaborative project launch with Singapore Educare Global Academy signifies the establishment of Guangzhou College of Commerce's first educational center overseas," Ma Weilan stated. She emphasized that by leveraging this platform, the college aims to introduce advanced educational philosophies and teaching methods from Singapore, thereby exporting excellent educational resources to Singapore. This initiative aims to facilitate a two-way flow of high-quality educational resources, nurturing future leaders with international perspectives and innovative capabilities. It sets a solid foundation for deepening cooperation with more global educational resources in the future.

Rodney Seah, President of Singapore Educare Global Academy, noted that both institutions share many similarities in educational philosophies and teaching methods, emphasizing the cultivation of students' comprehensive qualities and practical abilities. He pointed out that Guangzhou College of Commerce possesses strong faculty resources, advanced teaching facilities, and a distinct advantage in its location, with a clear emphasis on international school running. The launch of this collaborative project aims to further enrich student's learning experiences and broaden their academic perspectives. Looking ahead, Rodney Seah expressed anticipation for both institutions to leverage their respective educational strengths for deeper cooperation and exchange.

At the event, Vice President He Bolue from Guangzhou College of Commerce and Director Serene Tay from Singapore Educare Global Academy signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. The ceremony was witnessed by Huang Weijian, Ma Weilan, and Rodney Seah. Following the signing ceremony, representatives from Singapore Educare Global Academy visited the International Technology Center in Knowledge City and the library of Guangzhou College of Commerce.

It has been reported that in recent years, Guangzhou College of Commerce has placed high importance on enhancing the quality of its curriculum and continuously advancing its internationalization efforts. The college plans to persist in exploring the development and utilization of high-quality course resources, as well as fostering new models for collaborative development and sharing benefits, with the aim of promoting more high-quality courses on the international stage.

广商牵手新加坡高校，成立学校首个海外教学中心

6月13日，广州商学院与新加坡育德国际学院合作项目签约仪式在广州黄埔区举行。据了解，新加坡育德国际学院的合作项目是广州商学院设立的首个海外教学中心。两校将共同在新加坡开设课程，为学生提供富含中国元素的课程教学，共同培养具备国际视野、精通双语、掌握跨文化沟通技能的复合应用型人才。

在签约仪式上，广州商学院校长马蔚兰简要介绍了学校的师资力量、校园建设和国际化办学等方面的成绩。她表示，新加坡育德国际学院在人力资源、商业科学、酒店管理等领域的前沿课程和“AI+”教育模式在国际上赢得了广泛赞誉。

“本次两校合作项目启动，标志着新加坡育德国际学院成为广州商学院在海外的第一个教学中心。”马蔚兰说，学校将依托项目平台，引入新加坡先进的教育理念和教学方法，向新加坡输送优秀的教育资源，促进优质教育资源双向流动，培养更多具有国际视野和创新能力的未来领袖，为与更多全球优质教育资源开展深度合作奠定坚实的基础。

新加坡育德国际学院总裁Rodney Seah表示，两校在教育理念和教学模式上有很多相似之处，注重培养学生的综合素质和实践能力。他提出，广州商学院拥有雄厚的师资力量和先进的教学设施，区位优势明显，国际化办学特色鲜明。两校合作项目启动将进一步丰富学生的学习体验，拓宽学生的学术视野。期待未来两校发挥自身教育资源优势，开展深度合作与交流。

在现场，广州商学院常务副校长何柏略、新加坡育德国际学院总监Serene Tay分别代表广州商学院和新加坡育德国际学院签署合作协议。黄伟坚、马蔚兰、Rodney Seah共同见证仪式。签约仪式后，新加坡育德国际学院参观了知识城国际科技中心和广州商学院图书馆。

据悉，近年来，广州商学院高度重视课程质量建设，持续推动课程国际化。广州商学院将持续探索优质课程资源开发利用及共建共享新模式，推动更多优质课程走向国际舞台。
