The 30th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) commenced on June 19th at the China National Convention Center and will run until June 23rd. This year's fair has attracted 1,600 exhibitors from 71 countries and regions, showcasing 220,000 books from around the world. Saudi Arabia, after being the guest country of honor at the 20th BIBF, returns in the same capacity this year.

The event has expanded to include 15 new participating countries such as Azerbaijan, Qatar, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Nigeria. Countries like Japan, Malaysia, the UK, and Italy have significantly increased their exhibition spaces. The number of overseas exhibitors has risen to 1,050, a 150-increase from last year, making up 65.6% of the total exhibitors, while the number of Chinese exhibitors stands at 550.

For the first time, the BIBF is showcasing key collections published since the founding of the People's Republic of China. These works are not only of great historical value but also highlight the significant achievements of China's publishing industry over the past 75 years.

A notable addition to this year's fair is the immersive reading experience zone. Utilizing Web 3.0 technology, the fair features an interactive cultural IP theme park. Visitors can engage with cutting-edge virtual reality equipment such as L-shaped glasses-free 3D high-definition displays, Vision Pro spatial computing glasses, and MR mixed reality glasses, experiencing a seamless blend of future technology and reading.

Additionally, the fair has optimized and upgraded five distinctive exhibition areas: the BIBF Picture Book Exhibition, BIBF Art Book Exhibition, BIBF Gourmet Book Exhibition, BIBF Illustration Exhibition, and the World Gifts Market. The 9th BIBF Picture Book Exhibition will showcase over 10,000 original language picture books, offering a rich visual and reading experience.

Since its inception in 1986, the BIBF has grown into one of the most important international book fairs and copyright trade platforms globally. It has played an active role in enhancing cultural exchanges between China and other countries, promoting Chinese culture internationally, and fostering win-win cooperation in global cultural trade. To date, BIBF has attracted over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 110 countries and regions.

22万种中外图书集中亮相！第三十届北京国际图书博览会开幕

第三十届北京国际图书博览会于6月19日至23日在北京国家会议中心举办，本届图博会共吸引71个国家和地区的1600家展商现场参展，有22万种中外图书在图博会亮相。沙特阿拉伯王国继第二十届图博会后，再次以主宾国身份参展。

与去年相比，今年书展新增15个参展国家，包括阿塞拜疆、卡塔尔、捷克、斯洛伐克、尼日利亚等；日本、马来西亚、英国、意大利等国家展台的面积显著扩大。海外展商数量达1050家，较去年增加150家，占展商总数的65.6%，国内展商数量达550家。

本届图博会首次大规模展示了新中国成立以来出版的重点丛书套书，这批著作不仅具有深厚的历史价值，还展示了中国出版业75年来高质量发展的辉煌成就。

值得一提的是，本次图博会特别设置了阅读体验区，通过Web3.0技术打造了一座沉浸式文化IP主题乐园。观众可通过L型裸眼3D高清显示屏、Vision Pro空间计算眼镜、MR混合现实眼镜等前沿虚拟现实终端设备，获得全方位的互动体验，感受未来科技与阅读的完美结合。

此外，BIBF绘本展、BIBF艺术书展、BIBF美食图书展、BIBF插画展、世界礼物市集五大特色展区也进行了优化升级。在第九届BIBF绘本展上，将展示逾万册多语种优秀原版绘本，带给观众丰富的视觉盛宴和阅读体验。

自1986年创办以来，北京国际图书博览会已发展成为全球最重要的国际书展和国际版权贸易平台之一。在深化中外文明交流互鉴、推动中华文化走出去、促进中外文化贸易合作共赢方面，BIBF发挥了积极作用，累计吸引了全球110多个国家和地区的2500多家展商参展。
