Free tickets: Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Showcase at Bai'etan

June 8th marks China's "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day"this year. The "Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Showcase" will be held from June 9th to 11th,featuring three consecutive performances at the theatre of the Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Centerin the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center.

The Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center officially opened to the public on May 1st this year, and this showcase will be the first performance in the newly established theater.

The showcase is divided into four sections: "Revitalizing Guangdong'sIntangible Cultural Heritage," "United in the Bay Area," "Harmonious Development," and "Future Prospect." It focuses on promoting and spreading the unique intangible cultural heritage of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The event will feature a selection of projects listed as representative works of human intangible cultural heritage and national and provincial intangible heritage projects.

The performances include the Guangdong lion dance, Meizhou Hakka mountain songs, Yingge Dance, Yao ethnic songs and dances, the three major theater forms of Guangdong—Cantonese Opera, Guangdong Han Opera, and Chao Opera (Chaozhou Opera), and more such as Xiangyun silk clothing, Guangdong paper cutting. These elements are integrated with this live performance, making the show diverse and dynamic.

The showcase has invited special guests including performers of the folk songs of the Guangxi Zhuang ethnic group accompanied by tianqin, Haiyang Yangko in Shandong, and Khoomei (Mongolian throat singing), offering a vibrant display of intangible cultural heritage from across the country and promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between regions.

In addition to performances by intangible cultural heritage inheritors, the showcase will feature award-winning opera artists such as Zeng Xiaomin, Lin Yanyun, Zeng Hui, and Huang Lihua, winners of the Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, which is China's top theater performance award. Pop singer Pan Xu and emerging Guochao (or China chic) musician Li Siya will also join the performances.

To benefit the general public and share the achievements of intangible cultural heritage development, tickets for the performances on June 10th and 11th will be distributed for free. The ticket reservation portal will open at midnight on June 6th. The public can reserve tickets through the WeChat mini-program of the "Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center".

今年的6月8日是我国“文化和自然遗产日”。“湾区同心 时代新彩——广东省非物质文化遗产项目展演”将于6月9日至11日在白鹅潭大湾区艺术中心的广东省非物质文化遗产馆非遗剧场连演3场。

广东省非物质文化遗产馆于今年5月1日正式对外开放,此次展演将是广东省非物质文化遗产馆启用后非遗剧场的首次演出。

此次展演由“广东非遗焕新彩”“湾区同心叙情缘”“美美与共齐发展”“生生不息向未来”四个篇章组成,以弘扬与传播粤港澳大湾区特色非遗项目为核心,精选多个人类非遗代表作名录项目和国家级、省级非遗代表性项目。

在展演节目中,广东醒狮、梅州客家山歌、英歌、连南瑶族耍歌堂和广东三大剧种——粤剧、广东汉剧、潮剧,以及香云纱服饰、广东剪纸等,都将在创新融合的大胆尝试中碰撞出别样的“火花”,呈现多元且生动的演绎现场。

此外,展演还特邀广西壮族天琴弹唱、山东海阳秧歌、蒙古族呼麦来粤交流展示,呈现全国各地非遗的多姿多彩,推动各地区间的文化交流与互鉴。

本次展演除了能欣赏到非遗传承人的精彩演绎,还汇集中国戏剧表演艺术最高奖“梅花表演奖”得主曾小敏、林燕云、曾慧以及黄丽华等戏曲名伶,还有流行歌手潘旭、新锐国潮原创音乐人李思雅等联袂献艺。

为惠及广大市民群众、共享非遗发展成果,6月10日、11日的两场演出将面向公众免费赠票,预约领票入口于6月6日00:00起开放。公众可通过“白鹅潭大湾区艺术中心”小程序预约领票。
