The list of the eighth batch of national-level manufacturing single-item champion enterprises was recently released, with Guangdong province, a manufacturing powerhouse, leading the nation with 60 companies making the list. This marks a significant increase, with a year-on-year growth of 29.80%, and for the first time, Guangdong takes the top spot. The total number of national-level manufacturing single-item champions in Guangdong has now reached 190, covering key industries such as high-end equipment, electronic information, and advanced materials.

Since 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has selected eight batches of manufacturing single-item champions, totaling 1,557. These champions are enterprises that have long focused on specific niches within the manufacturing sector. They possess internationally advanced production technologies or craftsmanshipand hold leading positions in the global market share of their single-item products (productive service), acclaimed as "pearls in the crown of manufacturing".

An analysis shows that the newly listed companies from Guangdong in this batch are mainly concentrated in the Pearl River Delta. Shenzhen leads with 29 companies, followed by Dongguan with 10, Guangzhou with 7, Foshan with 4, Zhuhai with 3, and Huizhou, Jiangmen, Zhongshan, and Zhaoqing each with one. Notably, Shenzhen's new entries set a record high in this batch, ranking first in the number of new champions nationwide and second overall in China with a total of 95, just behind Ningbo.

Other regions in Guangdong also made significant progress. Shantou, Qingyuan, and Shaoguan each had one enterprise listed. For instance, Guangdong Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County Dongyangguang Formed Foil Co. Ltd. became the first champion enterprise in Shaoguan. Formed foil is a crucial material for electronic components used in household appliances, communication electronics, automotive electronics, and LED lighting. Dongyangguang was the first enterprise in China to domestically produce formed foil, matching international standards in technology and leading global production capacity.

The confidence of these manufacturing champions lies in their commitment to excellence and focus on their core businesses. 

Taking Dongguan as an example, 10 companies were listed in this batch, including Guangdong Dapu Telecom Technology Co., Ltd. located in Songshan Lake. This high-tech company is a global supplier of clock chips, high-stability clocks, time servers, RF devices, and complete clock product solutions. It invests over 15% of its annual revenue in R&D, with R&D personnel accounting for more than 25%. Therefore, the company holds a leading position in the number of patents in its segment of the industry.

Global development is equally crucial. The 29 newly listed companies from Shenzhen, such as Luxshare Precision, Huion, Sangfor, and Absen, have established overseas operations and R&D facilities. For example, Absen focuses on LED display technology and has offices in the United States, Germany, Japan, Dubai, Russia, Mexico, and Brazil, with products sold in over 140 countries and regions, maintaining the highest export value for single-brand display products for 12 consecutive years.

Becoming a manufacturing single-item champion is not an overnight achievement and requires not only internal efforts but also policy support. According to the previously released "22 Measures to Develop Manufacturing as the Key Driving Force", Guangdong plans to cultivate 50 leading tech companies, 100 "chain leader" companies, 1,000 manufacturing single-item champions, and 10,000 specialized, refined, featured, and original enterprises, aiming to build a group of world-class enterprises.

广东新增国家级制造业单项冠军数量全国第一

近日，第八批国家级制造业单项冠军企业名单出炉。作为制造业大省，广东此次共60家企业榜上有名，新增数量连创新高并首次夺冠，同比增长29.80%；至此，广东省国家级制造业单项冠军达190家，涵盖高端装备、电子信息、前沿材料等重点产业链。

自2016年以来，工信部已先后遴选出8批共1557家制造业单项冠军企业。制造业单项冠军是指长期专注于制造业特定细分领域，生产技术或工艺水平国际先进，单项产品（生产性服务）市场占有率位居全球前列的企业，被誉为制造业皇冠上的“明珠”。

记者梳理发现，从区域来看，第八批入选的粤企主要集中在珠三角地区。其中，深圳29家、东莞10家、广州7家、佛山4家、珠海3家、惠州1家、江门1家、中山1家、肇庆1家。特别是深圳，单批入选数量再创新高，新增数量居全国城市第一；累计总量95家，仅次于宁波，居全国城市第二。

其他地区也有突破：汕头、清远、韶关均有1家企业入选。比如，广东乳源瑶族自治县东阳光化成箔有限公司，一举成为韶关首家单项冠军企业。化成箔是一种极为重要的电子元器件材料，广泛应用于家用电器、通讯电子、汽车电子、LED照明等各领域。东阳光正是全国第一家实现化成箔国产化的企业，技术水平比肩国外同行，产能也已经达到了全球第一。

苦练内功、深耕主业，是制造业单项冠军的底气。

以东莞为例，此次共有10家企业入选。其中，位于松山湖的广东大普通信技术股份有限公司，是一家提供时钟芯片、高稳时钟、时间服务器和射频器件及整体时钟产品解决方案的高科技企业。据悉，公司平均每年投入研发费用占比高于15%，研发人员占比超过25%，专利数量在细分行业位于领先地位。

走出国门同样重要。深圳立讯精密、绘王趋势、深信服、艾比森光电等29家企业上榜，大多都开展了境外布局，并设立经营机构或研发机构。比如，艾比森光电主攻LED显示细分赛道，在美国、德国、日本、迪拜、俄罗斯、墨西哥、巴西均设有海外公司，产品远销全球140多个国家和地区，单品牌显示产品出口额连续12年行业第一。

打造单项冠军并非一日之功，除了内部发力，还离不开外部政策。根据此前发布的“制造业当家22条”，广东计划打造50家科技领军企业和100家“链主”企业引领、1000家制造业单项冠军企业攻坚、10000家专精特新企业筑基的世界一流企业群。
