On June 3rd, the "BOCUSE D'OR 2024 CHINA SELECTION" concluded successfully at the Guangzhou Vocational School of Tourism & Business.
Originating in France, the competition is renowned as the "Culinary Olympics". The Bocuse d'Or 2024 China Selection holds significance as a cultural exchange event, aligning with the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations and the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.
Since its inception, the Bocuse d'Or 2024 China Selection has drawn the attention and participation of many outstanding young chefs across the nation. Eight finalists emerged after a three-month selection process, in which they fully showcased their exquisite skills and unique creativity.
After a strict professional assessment, Wang Yafei from Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel and The St. Regis Macao Hotel won the top honor in Bocuse d'Or 2024 China Selection. He will represent China in the Asia-Pacific competition, aiming to compete in the global finals held in Lyon, France, in 2025.
The Bocuse d'Or 2024 China Selection not only provided an arena for Western cuisine but also created a unique "delicacy" experience for guests, enriching the rendering of Guangzhou's culinary signature.
Before the competition, a welcome banquet at LN Garden Hotelwas held. It featured authentic Cantonese dishes, showcasing the city's exquisite culinary craftsmanship. After the competition, a celebration banquet was held at one Michelin-starred restaurant Stiller, offering the guests an innovative blend of Chinese and Western cuisine.
The host venue, Guangzhou Vocational School of Tourism & Business, is the first public school to establish a culinary major in Guangdong province. In 2018, the school partnered with the Bocuse d'Or China Academy for the Bocuse d'Or 2018 China Selection. In early 2022, it became the official selection base for the China arena.

“烹饪界的奥林匹克”赛事!澳门选手将代表中国出征
6月3日,“博古斯世界烹饪大赛2024中国区选拔赛”在广州市旅游商务职业学校圆满落幕。
起源于法国的该项赛事,被誉为“烹饪界奥林匹克”。本届博古斯中国赛是中法建交60周年和中法文化旅游年背景下的一次重要文化交流活动。
本届博古斯中国赛自启动以来,吸引了全国各地众多优秀年轻主厨关注参与。8位入围选手历时三个月选拔而出,在现场充分展现了精湛技艺和独特创意。
经严格专业评审,来自澳门的汪亚飞获得本年度博古斯世界烹饪大赛中国区选拔赛优胜殊荣。他将代表中国出征亚太赛,向2025年在法国里昂举办的全球总决赛发起挑战。
本届博古斯中国赛除了搭建顶级西餐的竞技舞台,更以美食为纽带,为嘉宾打造了独一无二的“美食+”体验,多元化诠释“食在广州”城市名片。
赛前,于广州花园酒店举行的欢迎晚宴,以传统粤式经典菜肴展示广州地道的匠心烹饪技艺;赛后,在米其林一星餐厅斯蒂勒举办的庆功晚宴,则邀请来宾共飨中西结合的创意料理。
大赛举办地广州市旅游商务职业学校,是广东省内首个创办烹饪专业的公办学校。该校自2018年与博古斯中国学会携手合作当年的中国赛,在2022年初正式成为中国区选拔基地。
