As the only national and international comprehensive exhibition and trade fair for cultural industries in China, the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (referred to as the"ICIF") will be held in Shenzhen from May 23rd to 27th.
With a history of 20 years, the ICIF has achieved remarkable success: the exhibition area has expanded from 45,000 square meters to 160,000 square meters; the number of offline exhibitors has increased from 700 to 3,076; and the number of participating countries and regions has increased from 10 to 108.In recent years, it has attracted manufacturers of over 100,000 creative cultural products and more than 4,000 cultural industry investment and financing projects from both domestic and foreign countries to display and trade at the fair. It has become the largest, highest-standard, most effectiveexhibition with the widest influence in the field of cultural industries in China, widely acclaimed as "China'sNo.1 Cultural Industry Fair."
The integration of exhibition and trade is an invariable theme of the ICIF. On November 18th, 2004, the first ICIF opened at the sub-venue of Dafen Oil Painting Village. On that day, 1,000 painters dressed in uniform white T-shirts and engaged in an oil painting creation performance, attracting huge attention."After the ICIF, orders for our paintings poured in like snowflakes from abroad." said the person in charge of the Dafen Fine Art Industry Association. In 2003, the sales of oil paintings in Dafen were 80 million yuan, which soared to 140 million yuan after the first ICIF was held, breaking through the hundred million yuan mark for the first time.
In recent years, a number of listed companies in the cultural field have been making their appearance at the ICIF one after another, such as Xinhua Media, Duzhe Publishing & Media Corp., China Publishing Group Co., Ltd, and others, all of which have been among the top 30 national cultural enterprises for several consecutive years.Their continuous participation has significantly improved the exhibition quality and transaction volume of the ICIF.
In the past 20 years, driven by the ICIF, a series of sub-venues with diverse formats have sprung up, leading to the development of cultural industry parks and bases. Currently, there are over 100,000 cultural enterprises and more than 1 million cultural industry practitioners in Shenzhen. The city boasts a total of 80 cultural industry parks of municipallevel and above, which are home to 10,000 companies. In terms of the 20th ICIF,a total of 52 sub-venues have been established, with nearly 400 display and trade activities planned.
Alongside the growth of the ICIF, Guangdong's cultural industry has also been making new progress and achievements. According to statistics, in 2023, Guangdong's cultural and related industrial enterprises above the designated scale achieved an operating income of 2.25 trillion yuan, a growth of 6.0%, accounting for over 1/6 (17.36%) of the national total.It has maintained the leading position in the national cultural industry size for 20 consecutive years.
Currently, the province has more than 10,800 cultural and related industrial enterprises above the designated scale, accounting for 1/7 of the national total. The export of cultural products and services accounts for about 2/5 of the national total, reaching out to over 160 countries and regions. Guangdong also boasts two national cultural export bases and two national foreign cultural trade bases, forming a cultural export pattern dominated by digital publishing, creative design, cultural products, and equipment manufacturing.

第二十届文博会今日开幕!
作为中国唯一一个国家级、国际化、综合性的文化产业博览交易会,第二十届中国(深圳)国际文化产业博览交易会(以下简称“文博会”)于5月23日至27日在深圳举行。
20年发展历程,文博会成就非凡:展示规模从首届的4.5万平方米,扩大到第二十届的16万平方米;线下展商数量从首届的700多家增加至第二十届的3076家;参会国家和地区从首届的10个增加至第二十届的108个;近年来每年都吸引国内外超10万种文化创意产品、4000多个文化产业投融资项目在现场进行展示与交易。文博会现已经成为中国文化产业领域规模最高、规格最高、实效最强、影响最广的展会,被广泛誉为“中国文化产业第一展”。
博览与交易是文博会永恒的主题。2004年11月18日,首届文博会大芬油画村分会场开幕。当天,1000名画工身穿统一的白色T恤,举行油画创作表演,广受关注。“文博会后,订单像雪片一样从国外源源不断地飞向大芬。”大芬美术产业协会相关负责人表示,2003年大芬的油画销售额为8000万元,而在首届文博会举办后,大芬当年的销售额就跃升为1.4亿元,首次突破了亿元大关。
近年来,一批文化领域的上市公司纷纷亮相文博会,如新华传媒、读者传媒、华侨城以及保利文化集团股份有限公司、中国出版集团公司、中国电影股份有限公司等连年荣获全国文化企业30强的企业文博会连续多年参展文博会,大大提升了文博会的展示质量和交易份额。
20年间,在文博会的推动下,一系列业态丰富的分会场成长起来,并带动了文化产业园区、基地的发展。目前深圳文化企业超10万家,从业人员逾100万人。全市共有市级以上文化产业园区80家,入驻企业超1万家。第二十届文博会共设52个分会场,策划了近400项展示交易活动。
伴随着文博会的成长,广东文化产业也迎来新进展、新成效。据统计,2023年,广东规模以上文化及相关产业企业实现营业收入2.25万亿元,增长6.0%,全国占比超过1/6(17.36%),文化产业规模总量连续20年位居全国首位。
目前,全省拥有规模以上文化及相关产业企业1.08万家,占全国1/7。文化产品和服务出口额约占全国2/5,覆盖160多个国家和地区,拥有国家文化出口基地2个、国家对外文化贸易基地2个,形成以数字出版、创意设计、文化产品和设备制造为优势的文化出口格局。
