The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair to kick off on May 23rd

The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair(ICIF) will be held from May 23rd to 27th. The main venue will be located at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, with 8 exhibition halls covering an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters. There will be a total of 52 sub-venues in districts of Shenzhen. The CloudICIFwill showcase cultural products and projects online, classified by exhibition halls.

It is reported that ICIF 2024 had a total of 6,015 government groups, cultural institutions, and enterprises participating both online and offline, with an increase of 2,419 from the previous session. National administrations including 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR,and Chinese Taiwan, will allexhibit at the fair. In addition, the fair also attracts participation from 302 overseas exhibitors from 60 countries and regions, with over 30,000 overseas visitors from 108 countries and regions invited to participate online and offline for discussions and orders.

The current ICIF will have eight main exhibition halls, namely the Cultural Industries Halls A and B, the GHM Greater Bay Area Hall, the Cultural Tourism and Consumption Hall, the Film and Television·Publishing·Copyright·E-sports Hall, the Intangible Cultural Heritage·Arts and Crafts Hall, the Art·Design·Chinese Chic Hall, and the International Cultural Trade Hall. Throughout the fair, there will be over 120,000 cultural products and more than 4,000 cultural industry investment and financing projects showcased and traded on-site. Meanwhile, the fair will host over 100 launch events for innovative projects and new products, along with more than 20 investment conferences, promotions, and meetings. Furthermore, there will be collaborations with internet celebrities from platforms like Taobao and Tiktok for live-streaming sales, and partnerships with Tmall and Taobao to create dedicated online trading zones.

ICIF 2024 will not only provide exhibitors with profitable opportunities but also offer citizens various forms of entertainment, including sightseeing, leisure activities, dining options, and shopping opportunities.

It is reported that ICIF 2024 will showcase a collection of treasures from home and abroad, as well as major achievements in the cultural industry. Among them, the Shenzhen-produced dance drama Wing Chun will be featured in the "Chinese CulturalCreation" exhibition area.A series of online games and esports events will also kick off on-site.

There's sightseeing, there's entertainment, and most importantly, there's food to indulge in.The ICIF will focus on creating an intangible cultural heritage food exhibition area titled "Cultural and Creative Cuisine: Exploring the Taste of China", opening a "feast for the taste buds" while exploring the fair.”

Shenzhen's 8% GDP contributed by cultural industry

Since its establishment in 2004, the ICIF has seen a yearly increase in exhibition scale, audience numbers, internationalization, and trading outcomes. It has become an important engine to promote the development of China's cultural industry, an important platform, and an important window to expand Chinese culture to theworld. ICIF is crowned as "The Top Cultural Fair in China".

It is reported that over the past 20 years since the founding of the ICIF, the development of Shenzhen's cultural industry has shown its strength. The cultural industry has seen an annual growth rate of over 15%, with the value-added reaching 275 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 8% of Shenzhen's GDP.

第二十届文博会将于5月23日启幕

第二十届中国(深圳)国际文化产业博览交易会(以下简称“文博会”)将于5月23日至27日举行,主会场设在深圳国际会展中心,展览面积16万平方米,分为8个展馆。深圳全市各区共设52个分会场。云上文博会平台将按照展馆展区分类展示文化产品和项目。

据介绍,今年的文博会共有6015家政府组团、文化机构和企业线上线下参展,比上届增加2419家。全国31个省、自治区、直辖市及港澳台地区全部参展。此外,展会还吸引了来自60个国家和地区、302家海外展商线上线下参展,邀请108个国家和地区、3万余名海外专业观众线上线下参会、洽谈订货。

本届文博会主会场设8个展馆,分别为文化产业综合展A馆、B馆、粤港澳大湾区文化产业创新展、文旅融合·文化消费展、影视·出版·版权·游戏电竞展、非遗·老字号·工艺美术展、艺术·设计·国潮展、国际文化贸易展。展会期间,将有超12万件文化产品和4000多个文化产业投融资项目现场展示、交易。同时,今年的文博会将举办超100场创新项目及新品发布会和逾20场招商会、推介会、订货会等活动,还将联合淘宝、抖音等互联网直播带货达人现场带货,并与天猫、淘宝合作打造线上交易专区。

今年的文博会不仅让参展商“有赚头”,更让市民“有看头”“有乐头”“有玩头”“有吃头”“有买头”。

据悉,今年的文博会组织海内外宝藏展品、重大文化产业发展成果集中亮相。其中,深圳原创舞剧《咏春》将亮相“文创中国”展区;系列网游、电竞赛事也将现场开赛。

有得看、有得玩,更要有得吃。今年的文博会将重点打造“文博食尚寻味中华”非遗美食展区,在逛展之余开启一场“味蕾狂欢”。  

知多D——深圳8%GDP由文化产业贡献

文博会自2004创办以来,展会规模、观众数量、国际化程度、交易成果逐年攀升,成为引领中国文化产业发展的重要引擎,推动中华文化走出去的重要平台和扩大文化对外开放的重要窗口,被誉为“中国文化产业第一展”。

据介绍,文博会创办20年来,深圳文化产业发展表现出强劲实力,文化产业年均增长15%以上,文化产业增加值达2750亿元,占全市GDP比重约8%。
