On May 11th, over a hundred Guangdong enterprises gathered for the China Brand Day event at the sections of Guangdong Province and Zhongshan City, showcasing their achievements, includingthe nationwide first "Wanlu Lake Space Simiao Rice," the Chinese bahaba whose rarity comparable to the "national treasure" giant panda, Xin Baotang Chenpi as a China time-honored brand, and the lighting fittings made in the city known as "the capital of lighting fittings" —Zhongshan. With an exhibition area of nearly 500 square meters, this year's event set a new record.
The section of Guangdong Province focused on future and emerging industries, highlighting high-tech industrial products and high-value-added products for civilian use. Compared to previous years' events, this year's event saw the addition of the section for Zhongshan City, featuring over 150 brands from Zhongshan.
At the "Advancing into the Deep Sea"of the section of Guangdong, one of the key exhibits was a model of the "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" deep-sea aquaculture platform. The platform, with a total length of 154 meters, a width of 44 meters, and a depth of 24.25 meters, has a water volume of 80,000 cubic meters. It is expected to be launched in Zhanjiang by the end of 2024.
Zhu Yuzhen, General Manager of Zhanjiang Longwang Bay Technology Development Co., Ltd., stated that this was the first time "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" participated in China Brand Day. The platform is the world's first floating dynamic positioning aquaculture platform, capable of withstanding a Category 12 typhoon and autonomously navigating to avoid storms. It is suitable for open-sea aquaculture, capable of breeding species such as red snapper, tuna, and sergeant fish. Additionally, it incorporates many smart platforms for unmanned and intelligent feeding, uses green energy, which is environmentally friendly. It can also be used for fishing and sea tourism.
Next to the model of "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1," several specimens of Chinese bahaba caught attention. Due to their rarity, Chinese bahaba are also known as"underwater pandas." Guangdong Huijing Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Huijing Marine) from Huizhou, Guangdong, is currently the only domestic enterprise that has mastered the core technology of artificial breeding for Chinese bahaba.
In 2021, Huijing Marine was the first in the country to overcome the world's technical difficulties in artificial breeding of nationally protected wild animals, Chinese bahaba. They successfully bred 50,000 extremely rare offspring of Chinese bahaba through natural spawning under artificial control in three years.
The "Space Rice" brought by Guangdong Wanlu Smart Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. attracted many people. It was explained that the "seed chip" of "Space Rice" is a high-quality variety bred after multiple trips aboard national spacecraft, and it represents the superior products of GuangdongSimiao rice. The company's representative expressed the hope to further increase their visibility and enhance their reputation through China Brand Day.
It is worth mentioning that the section of Guangdong also offered a blind box activity, distributing limited-edition "Space Simiao Rice" and custom-made Guangdong-themed cultural products to visitors. "Everyone knows the delicacies of Guangdong, but I didn't expect to experience Guangdong's distinctive brands at the China Brand Day event. It's fun and delicious, and I'm really satisfied," said Ms. Huang, a resident, to reporters.
广东名企闪耀中国品牌日
全国首创“万绿湖航天丝苗米”、稀有程度堪比“国宝”大熊猫的黄唇鱼、中华老字号新宝堂陈皮、“世界灯都”中山造的灯饰……5月11日,逾百家广东企业齐聚中国品牌日活动,广东展馆和中山展馆双星闪耀,展览面积近500平方米,创历年新高。
广东馆聚焦未来产业和新兴产业领域,集中展示广东工业端的高科技型产品及民用端的高附加值产品。与往年相比,今年广东参展活动新增中山展馆,超150个中山品牌闪亮登场。
在广东馆“向深海挺进”展区,“湛江湾一号”深远海养殖平台模型是重点展品之一。该平台实体总长154米,型宽44米,型深24.25米,养殖水体8万立方米,预计2024年底在湛江下水。
湛江龙王湾科技发展有限公司总经理朱宇珍表示,这是“湛江湾一号”首次参加中国品牌日活动。“‘湛江湾一号’是全球首创漂浮式动力定位养殖平台,可抵抗12级强台风,实现自航避台;适用于全海域养殖,能远海游弋,可养殖章红鱼、金枪鱼、军曹鱼等;同时搭载了很多智能平台,实现无人值守、智能投喂;采用绿色能源,非常环保;还能够开发垂钓、海上观光等。”
在“湛江湾一号”模型的旁边,几条黄唇鱼标本引人注目。因珍贵稀少,黄唇鱼也被称作“水下大熊猫”。来自广东惠州的广东省鳇鲸海洋生物科技有限公司,是目前国内独家掌握“国宝级”黄唇鱼人工繁殖核心技术的企业。
2021年,鳇鲸海洋率先在全国攻克了“国家一级重点保护野生动物黄唇鱼人工繁殖”这一世界性技术难题,首次实现黄唇鱼在人工调控下,多次自然产卵,3年成功繁育5万尾极其珍贵的子一代黄唇鱼幼苗。
广东万绿智慧农业科技有限公司带来的“太空稻”,受到现场不少观众围观。据介绍,“航天丝苗米”水稻“种子芯片”是经多次搭乘国家航天飞行器到太空后选育出的优质品种,也是广东丝苗米优质产品的代表。该公司相关负责人对自己表示:“希望通过中国品牌日,能进一步扩大知名度,提升美誉度。”
值得一提的是,广东馆还特别提供抽盲盒活动,给观众派送限量版全国首创“航天丝苗米”,以及定制版广东特色文创产品。“大家都知道‘食在广东’,没想到在品牌日活动现场也能体验到广东的特色品牌,好玩又好吃,收获满满。”市民黄女士对记者说。
