On May 2nd, the Puning Yingge Cultural Exchange Group from Jieyang arrived at the final destination of their visit to Thailand—Phanat Nikhom in Chonburi Province. On May 3rd, they participated in the 27th Harvest Festival and Bamboo Weaving Craft Exhibition.

During the Harvest Festival, the performers of the Puning Fumei Youth Yingge Team teamed up with the local bamboo weaving team for a street parade. Later that evening, they competed on stage with the Thai Yingge performers at the Phanat Nikhom Park, marking a perfect conclusion to the touring performance in Thailand. 

During their stay in Phanat Nikhom, the Puning Yingge Cultural Exchange Group visited the Wenyi School and toured the school's Yingge Gallery. The group also shared the basics of fast-paced Yingge with the school's Yingge team members.

Wang Fenjuan, Deputy Mayor of Puning City, shared that Thailand has the largest population of overseas Chinese from Puning in the world. She hopes that through the cultural bond of Yingge dance, they could enhance cultural exchange and promote friendly interactions between the two regions. 

The Harvest Festival, an annual traditional celebration in Phanat Nikhom, is not only a time for local farmers to celebrate the harvest and express gratitude to nature but also an important platform for showcasing local culture, arts, and traditional customs. Because of the presence of the Puning Yingge performance, this year's festival attracted more people from surrounding areas and tourists to Phanat Nikhom. Both local people and visitors from around the world enjoyed delicacies while witnessing the "Chinese Warrior Dance," experiencing the charm of China's national intangible cultural heritage and fostering a greater understanding and appreciation for traditional Chinese culture. 

On the evening of April 30th, the Fumei Youth Yingge Team from Puning and the Ratchaburi Yingge Team from Ratchaburi Province danced together, marking the first-ever collaboration of Chinese and Thai Yingge performers. During the May Day holiday, the Puning Yingge Cultural Exchange Group conducted cultural exchanges in three locations: Bangkok, Ratchaburi Province, and Phanat Nikhom, bringing Yingge to Thai people and tourists from China and other countries, and facilitating cultural exchange between China and Thailand.

中泰英歌同台竞技！普宁英歌泰国巡演圆满谢幕

5月2日，揭阳普宁市英歌文化交流团抵达此次出访泰国的最后一站——春武里府旧罔县，并于5月3日参加旧罔县第27届丰收祭民俗文化节暨竹编工艺展示活动。

在丰收祭上，普宁富美青年英歌队与旧罔当地竹编队联合开展街头巡游，并在当晚与泰国的英歌队于旧罔公园同台竞技，为本次普宁英歌泰国巡演完美谢幕。

在旧罔期间，普宁市英歌文化交流团考察了旧罔县文益学校、参观学校英歌馆，富美青年英歌队还对学校英歌队员传授了快板英歌基本要领。

普宁市副市长王粉娟表示，泰国是全世界普宁籍华人华侨最多的国家，期望通过英歌舞这个文化纽带，以文化走亲、英歌走亲的形式，增进两地文化互通，促进两地人民友好往来。

据悉，作为旧罔县一年一度的传统庆典活动，丰收祭不仅是当地农民庆祝丰收、感恩大自然的时刻，也是展示当地文化、艺术和传统民俗的重要平台，今年的旧罔丰收祭更因为普宁英歌的到来而吸引了更多的周边地区民众和游客来到旧罔。在丰收祭上，当地民众和来自世界各地的游客一边品尝美食，一边欣赏“中华战舞”，沉浸式感受中国国家级非遗的魅力，也增加了对中华优秀传统文化的了解和喜爱。

4月30日晚，普宁富美青年英歌队与泰国叻丕府英歌队进行了历史性“共舞”，实现中泰英歌舞的首次“合体”。“五一”假期期间，普宁市英歌文化交流团在泰国首都曼谷、叻丕府以及春武里府旧罔县三地开展文化交流，为泰国民众和中外游客呈送“英歌旋风”的同时，促进了中泰两国文化的交流。
