2月25日（正月十六）晚，潮州市磷溪镇溪口村举办传统民俗文化活动“穿蔗巷”，现场锣鼓开道，标旗簇拥，村民撑着“蔗灯”等待巡游队伍从“蔗巷”穿过，以此祈祷人丁兴旺，寓意生活像吃甘蔗一样越吃越甜，日子如甘蔗一样节节高，事业似灯笼一样红红火火。锣乐齐鸣，标旗簇拥，烟花绽放，蔗灯高照，映亮了漆黑的夜空。人们在蔗灯下观赏烟花，浪漫的氛围弥漫整个村庄。
