Everyone is welcome, regardless of their relationship with the #family. After midnight, paper #boats carrying unpleasant things will be cremated, symbolizing peace and harmony and indicating the end of “Nianli”. 锣鼓喧天、欢歌起舞、火树银花、满地灯火……农历正月的广东茂名，即便过了十五，年的味道依旧浓郁而灿烂。 茂名年例，是集祭祀、祈祷、欢庆等于一体的民俗活动。年例期间，各家各户招待宾朋“吃年例”，主人家早晚不停，宾客随到随吃，不比熟悉，一概欢迎。午夜过后，将封载着不顺意之事的纸船火化掉，寓意合境平安，年例就此结束。一起加入欢庆的人群一同载歌载舞，共赴茂名年例盛会。
