"Crossing Tongji Bridge",or "Xing Tongji",is a magnificent folk event that has been celebrated in Foshan for hundreds of years. Over the years, this event has evolved and enriched its cultural scenes. Along the route of this year's event are traditional windmills and vegetable stalls and a specially designed garden party and market in Chuihong Park, creating a grand gathering for cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and sales.

Among the crowds who crossed the Tongji Bridge, martial arts groups, Cantonese opera performers, and lion dance performers have become popular highlights.

At Chuihong Park, there is a splendid array of intangible cultural heritage stalls for Guangdong paper-cutting, Nanhai rattan weaving, Shiwan pottery, Foshan lion head making, New Year woodblock prints, colorful lanterns, Cantonese opera, dragon boat carving, double skin milk, and more. Additionally, elements such as books, coffee, and animation also contribute to the festive atmosphere. At Tongji Market, there is a wide variety of stalls featuring time-honored brands like Shiwan Jade Ice Burning Wine, and Jiang Taishi Catering, as well as cultural and creative brands and high-quality products from Chancheng District, Foshan City.

Through visually appealing and experiential cultural consumption scenes, the current "Crossing Tongji Bridge" event not only carries forward the ancient cultural connotations but also caters to the aesthetic trends of modern people, presenting a profound and fascinating feast of Cantonese culture for residents and tourists.

"I have participated in the event of crossing Tongji Bridge more than five times, starting in 2012. Through observation, I have noticed that the event has become increasingly diverse and colorful. It is no longer limited to simply crossing the Tongji Bridge but has integrated with various other cultural elements," said a Foshan resident who has participated in "Xing Tongji" multiple times.

佛山“行通济”：一场岭南文化盛宴

行通济是佛山延续了数百年的盛大民俗活动，经过多年的传承发展，该活动所包含的文化场景越来越丰富。在今年的行通济路线沿线，不仅有众多传统的风车和生菜摊位，还特别设置了垂虹潮墟——通济游园、通济市集等，营造文创展销、非遗文化展示的盛会。

在行通济人群中，武术团体、粤剧扮演者、醒狮表演者等成为现场“网红”。

在垂虹公园，广东剪纸、南海藤编、石湾陶艺、佛山狮头扎作、木版年画、彩灯、粤剧、龙舟雕刻、双皮奶等非遗文化摊位精彩纷呈，同时，还有书籍、咖啡、动漫等元素助阵；在通济市集上，石湾玉冰烧、江太史餐饮等老字号、文创品牌、禅城优品摊位星罗棋布。

通过极具观赏性、体验性的文化消费场景，如今的行通济活动，既传承古老文化内涵，又符合现代人的审美潮流，为市民游客送上了一场底蕴深厚、新奇有趣的岭南广府文化盛宴。

“我参与行通济活动已经超过五次了，最早是参加2012年的行通济。通过观察发现，行通济活动越来越丰富多彩，已经不再局限于走过通济桥这一举动，而是将行通济与其他多项文化元素互相融合。”一位多次参与行通济的佛山市民表示。
