The 14th Luogang Xiangxue Cultural Tourism Festivalwill be held from January 3rd to 5th, 2024, lasting for three days. This year's festival will take place at Luogang Xiangxue Park as the main venue, with Innovation Park and Civic Park as sub-venues for 20 events, integrating technology, traditional culture, and other elements.

Every year, at the end and the beginning of the year, visiting the Luogang Xiangxue Park in Huangpu to appreciate the plum blossoms has become a winter joy for many citizens and tourists. Once the nearly four thousand plum trees in the park are in full bloom, the flower sea is like a flurry of snow with beautiful colors and fragrance.

The Xiangxue Festival is held in accordance with the blooming period of plum blossoms every year. Since its opening in 2008, it has received approximately 7.3 million visitors in 13 years, making it a well-known cultural tourism brand in Guangzhou. Luogang Xiangxue has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province and is highly popular among the public.

According to relevant departments' predictions, this year's plum blossom season is expected to welcome its peak bloom period around January 2nd, 2024, lasting for about nine days like last year's.

This year's Xiangxue Festival integrates diverse elements of leisure tourism, including flower appreciation, gourmet food, culture, entertainment, and socializing, allowing the visitors to immerse themselves in the activities of the Xiangxue Festival.

Culture remains the main theme of the Xiangxue Festival. This year's Xiangxue Festival invites many famous artists to gather in Huangpu, showcasing the view of the blooms from different aesthetic perspectives with works, and presenting the culture of Huangpu. With the beautiful natural environment, the organizers have also carefully designed cultural activities such as calligraphy and painting collections, calligraphy and photography exhibitions, traditional musical instrument performances, and Hanfu flash mob performances. With rich events, citizens and tourists can not only enjoy the flowers but also experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

During the event, Luogang Xiangxue Park will showcase low-altitude manned drones and autonomous driving transportation, providing visitors with a new experience of the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature by enjoying both plum blossoms and cutting-edge technologies.

In addition, this year's Xiangxue Festival will also incorporate elements that are popular among young people, such as inviting mixologists to prepare green plum wine amidst the natural beauty of Xiangxue plum blossoms, allowing visitors to experience the joy of "appreciating plum while brewing wine". The organizers also set up outdoor camping to showcase traditional tea art culture, providing visitors with a sense of ceremony in enjoying plum blossoms and brewing tea around the fire in winter.

黄埔萝岗赏梅正当时！4000株梅花将盛放

第十四届萝岗香雪文化旅游节将于2024年1月3日至5日举办，为期3天。本届香雪节以萝岗香雪公园为主会场，创新公园和市民广场为分会场，融合科技、传统文化等元素，开展20场活动。

每到岁末年初，到黄埔萝岗香雪公园赏梅，成为不少市民游客的冬日乐趣。园内近四千株梅花一旦盛放，犹如瑞雪翻飞，色香俱绝，再现“十里梅林”的盛况。

香雪节于每年梅花花期举办，自2008年举办以来，13年间接待游客约730万人次，已成为广州市知名文化旅游品牌。“萝岗香雪”被列为广东省非物质文化遗产，深受广大市民欢迎。

据有关部门预测，今年“萝岗香雪”梅花花期与往年接近，预计2024年1月2日前后进入盛花期，持续9天左右。

本届香雪节集聚多元休闲旅游元素，融赏花、美食、文化、娱乐、社交为一体，让观众沉浸式体验香雪节丰富活动。

文化依然是香雪节的主线。本届香雪节邀请众多名家齐聚黄埔，以不同的审美视觉和作品来展示香雪，擦亮黄埔文化名片。在呈现自然美景本真的同时，主办方还精心设计了书画雅集、书画摄影展、传统乐器展演、汉服快闪表演等文化特色活动，内容丰富，市民游客在赏花游玩的同时，还可体验传统文化魅力。

活动期间，萝岗香雪公园现场将通过低空载人无人机静态展示、无人驾驶交通接驳，开启游客赏梅新体验，让游客感受科技与自然的融合，感受人与自然和谐相处的美好意境。

此外，本届香雪节还将加入年轻人喜闻乐见的元素，如邀请调酒师在香雪梅花的自然美景中调制青梅酒，让游客体验“探梅煮酒”的乐趣；又如，搭建户外露营场景，展示传统茶艺文化，给足游客冬日赏梅、围炉煮茶的仪式感。
