The inaugural GBA Music Performance, with the theme of "Rhythmic Youth, Igniting Dreams, Gathering Energy", will hold its opening ceremony on December 23^rd at the Xinghai Concert Hall, coinciding with the first performance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Young Artist Symphony Orchestra Alliance.

The grand performance will feature a series of music activities, including themed music festivals, electronic music festivals, traditional music festivals, symphony orchestra shows, jazz music shows, and outdoor concerts. It aims to create an international platform for music enthusiasts, a professional development platform for young musicians, and a nurturing ground for original music. By attracting young music enthusiasts and creators from around the world to gather in Guangzhou, the performance strives to inject youthful vitality and vibrant energy into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, to build a youthful, high-quality, and distinctive urban cultural brand.

A series of events for the current GBA Music Performance will take place before the Spring Festival in 2024. Currently, there are more than ten main sub-events, including the GBA Young Artist Symphony Concert, Storm Electronic Music Festival, Nansha Pioneer Music Festival, Jazz Music Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, Outdoor Art Festival, and Guangdong Music and Quyi Month. These events will comprehensively showcase Guangzhou's dynamic, stereoscopic, and fashionable cultural image while sharing China's story, the GBA story, Guangdong's story, and Guangzhou's story with the world through unique artistic forms.

According to reports, as the performing arts market has seen a strong recovery and remains consistently vibrant, Guangzhou has been actively promoting the construction of an international performing arts center this year. Statistics show that in the first three quarters, Guangzhou hosted 105 commercial performances with an audience of over 50,000 people, attracting more than 23 million viewers and generating ticket sales of nearly five billion yuan.

2023“湾区音乐汇”将于12月23日举办开幕式

今年“湾区音乐汇”首次举办，活动的主题是“律动青春、点燃梦想、汇聚能量”。开幕式将于12月23日在星海音乐厅举行，届时还将同步举办粤港澳大湾区青少年交响乐团联盟成立后的首场演出。

“湾区音乐汇”将策划举办主题音乐节、电音节、民乐节、交响乐、爵士乐、户外音乐等系列音乐演出，精心打造音乐爱好者的国际交流平台、青年音乐人才的专业培育平台、原创音乐的孵化生长平台，吸引全球青年音乐爱好者、创作者齐聚广州，为粤港澳大湾区注入青春活力和勃勃生机，力争打造成为年轻化、品质化、个性化的城市文化品牌。

今年“湾区音乐汇”系列活动将在2024年春节前陆续举办，目前主要有十多个子活动，包括粤港澳大湾区青少年交响音乐会、风暴电音节、南沙先锋音乐节、爵士音乐节、超级草莓音乐节、户外艺术节、广东音乐曲艺月等，全面展现广州生动立体、青春时尚的文化形象，以艺术的独特形式向世界讲好中国故事、湾区故事、广东故事、广州故事。

据介绍，今年以来，广州积极推动国际演艺中心建设，演艺市场强势复苏、持续火热。据统计，前三季度广州举办5000人以上营业性演出105场，各类演出吸引观演人次超过2300万，票房收入近50亿元。
