On November 30^th, the new building of the Guangzhou Museum of Art was officially opened to welcome its first batch of visitors. A large number of citizens and tourists came to experience the vibrant artistic atmosphere.

As of the time of posting this article, all periods of visit for December 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd have been fully booked, according to the reservation platform on the official WeChat public account of the museum.

Before the opening at 9 am on November 30th, many citizens had already been waiting at the east gate. A large number of visitors gathered outside the museum, raising their phones and cameras, and even driving flying drones to capture this new cultural landmark under Pazhou Tower and Canton Tower.

Close to 9 am, the first group of audience outside the west gate started to enter the museum. Mr. Du, who came all the way from Foshan City early in the morning, became the first audience to enter the museum through the facial recognition gate and security check.

Mr. Du said that he traveled far this morning because he is especially interested in art. He saw the news of the opening of the Guangzhou Museum of Art online and made a reservation a few days in advance. "I just wanted to see it as soon as possible," Du added.

Some visitors told reporters that the new museum is more modern, with a strong artistic atmosphere in major exhibition areas and even aisles. Although the design of the building has attracted attention in advance on social media platforms, Mr. Du and many on-site spectators have expressed they preferred to see masterpieces and famous artists in the building instead of just noticing the design. They will try to visit all the exhibitions as much as possible.

Although the reservations for the first day of the museum were all booked, the exhibition hall was in order and not filled with people, providing a good experience for the visitors. Many citizens shared their visits with their own devices to record and livestream with their friends and family, who were unable to make a reservation to enter the museum.

"We look forward to more citizens entering the museum, and we also strive to make every visit deserve. Luo Qi, president of the museum, told the reporter that in response to the upsurge in visitor flow, the museum has upgraded security checks and guiding services to ensure better public cultural services for citizens.

广州艺术博物院新馆正式开放，迎来首批观众

11月30日，广州艺术博物院（广州美术馆）新馆正式开放，迎来首批观众。大批市民游客赶来参观，现场人气火爆，艺术氛围“拉满”。

截至记者发稿时，在该馆官方微信公众号预约平台上，12月1、2、3日所有时段的预约已全部约满。

在11月30日上午9点开馆之前，已经有不少市民在东门等候进馆。新馆外围聚集了不少观众，大家纷纷举起手机与相机，甚至飞起无人机，拍下琶洲塔与广州塔下的文化新地标。

接近9点，西门外的第一批观众开始入场。一大早专程从佛山赶过来的杜先生，成为通过人脸识别闸机、安检门入馆的第一位观众。

杜先生表示，他今早专门从佛山赶过来，因为对美术比较感兴趣，之前在网上看到新馆开馆信息，提前几天就进行了预约。“我就是想第一时间来看。”

有现场观众告诉记者，新馆的整体形象更现代，各大展区乃至过道艺术氛围浓厚。虽然新馆建筑在此前引人注目，早在社交平台掀起热潮，但杜先生与不少现场观众均表示，更期待在馆里看到名家名作，“会尽量把各个展览都看一看”。

虽然新馆首日预约已满，但记者在现场看到，展厅空间仍较开阔，观众观展有序，逛馆体验良好。不少市民观众用自带设备进行记录和直播，分享给更多暂未能预约进馆的亲朋好友。

“我们期待更多市民走进美术馆，也努力让每一位进来的观众不枉此行。”广州艺术博物院（广州美术馆）院长罗奇向记者表示，为应对观展热潮，该馆已加大安保、讲解等服务力度，确保为市民提供更好的公共文化服务。
