Zhuhai is surrounded by mountains and islands with different ethnic groups, featuring a rich variety of living and eating habits and cultural customs that have been passed down from generation to generation. The Tanka people, also known as people on the water, live on boats or by the water, and their special living environment has given rise to a distinctive culture. Recently, the Zhuhai Doumen collective on-water wedding ceremony was held. Ten couples were married to the rhythm of songs rendered by the Doumen Tanka people, combined with the on-water wedding which has a history of hundreds of years. #artandculture
