Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders| #Guangzhou, as the birthplace of the Maritime Silk Road, is known for the Huangpu Ancient Port, which has witnessed the prosperity of the Maritime Silk Road with a history of nearly 1,000 years. Huangpu Village, where Huangpu Ancient Port is located, is one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Ancient Villages in Guangdong". As early as the Southern Song Dynasty, the Huangpu Ancient Port was well known for gathering merchant ships around the world. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Guangzhou gradually became a unique foreign trade port, when the Huangpu Ancient Port entered its most glorious period. It is recorded that during the period when Guangzhou was the only city that allowed trade, there were more than 5000 foreign merchant ships moored in Huangpu Ancient Port. 广州是“海上丝绸之路”的发祥地，在这里有个著名的“黄埔古港”，它见证了“海上丝绸之路”的繁荣，有将近一千年的历史。黄埔古港所在的黄埔村，是广东省十大最美古村落之一。黄埔古港在南宋时已是“海舶所集之地”，明清以后广州逐渐成为唯一的对外贸易口岸，黄埔古港因此迎来最辉煌的时期。据记载在广州“一口通商”期间，停泊在黄埔古港的外国商船共计5000多艘。其中最著名的瑞典商船“哥德堡号”到过黄埔古港3次，每次都带着丝绸、茶叶、瓷器等满载而归。
