Sendo um deles, Qasimi vestiu roupas tradicionais do Iémen e mostrou com entusiasmo o acessório único, Jambiya, à volta da cintura aos clientes que passavam. Ele disse: "Estou grato pela oportunidade de mostrar a cultura do meu país aos chineses".

品味各国美食的过程，也是在品味多元文化。在日前举行的广东外语外贸大学第十五届世界文化节上，来自也门的留学生们带来了巴克拉瓦（Baklawa）、鸡肉饭（Kabsa）等特色美食。作为当天摊位的其中一员，卡西米身穿也门传统服饰，并向来往顾客热情展示腰间的独特配饰——Jambiya。他表示， “很感谢有机会向中国人民展示自己的国家文化。”
