Since the beginning of this year, many cultural and tourist attractions in Guangdong have been extremely popular, with tickets in high demand. Foshan Creative Industry Park, known as a popular destination for young people in the Guangzhou and Foshan area, produces an average daily flow of about 60,000 visitors; the Opium War Museum in Dongguan receives crowds frequently during holidays.
On the night of November 8th, the Foshan Creative Industry Park in Zhangcha Street, Chancheng District, Foshan City, ushered in the most bustling and pleasant time of the day with fireworks. It has become a tourist attraction for young people in the Guangzhou and Foshan areas and a landmark of the night economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has won 72 honors, such as being included in the first batch of National Night Culture and Tourism Consumption Clusters, China's top ten night markets and AAA tourist attractions. Visitors can always find what they like wandering around the "four streets and eight parks" in the industry park: tasting delicious food, listening to music, visiting the market, accompanying their children, celebrating birthdays and more. Statistics show that the current average daily passenger flow of Foshan Creative Industrial Park is about 60,000.
Featured catering has become a major attraction for the Foshan Creative Industry Park. "Tan Yu" is one of the most popular restaurants in the park's food street and one of the longest-running restaurants having been in operation for nine years. The business of "Tan Yu" in the park has basically recovered to the pre-epidemic level, with a year-on-year increase in revenue of nearly 20%-30% compared to 2019. "Song Hotpot" is a new online-popular restaurant in the park. During holidays, the restaurant needs to release over 1,000 queue numbers on average per day. Customers often need to wait for one to two hours to get a table.
How did Foshan Creative Industry Park withstand the test of the pandemic and achieve a strong recovery? The key lies in the product as the "traffic password", for example, by establishing the "Tianlun Growth Center" and making it the world's first birthday-themed cultural tourism attraction, creating a pedestrian cultural street that integrates culture, commerce, tourism, sports, education, and innovation.
Foshan Creative Industry Park is taking off. Qiu Dailun, Chairman of Foshan Creative Industry Park, told reporters that after the transformation, the park's customer flow has more than doubled, and the revenue has increased by more than 50%. Especially during the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, the park's customer flow increased by 55% year-on-year, and the total consumption increased by 48% year-on-year.
The Opium War Museum in Humen, Dongguan, is another highly popular cultural and tourism destination in Guangdong. As of October 31st this year, the museum has received a total of 4.1157 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 134.9%. The highest daily visitor count reached 55,500. In 2023, the museum appeared on the museum trending list four times, ranking as high as 5th on the "Top 100 National Museums and Revolutionary Museums in Trending List" and 2nd on the "Top 100 Guangdong Museums in Trending List".
The deputy curator of the Opium War Museum, Tang Lipeng, told reporters, "Our museum has repeatedly shown up in the trending list, reflecting the strong appeal, influence, and dissemination of the beginning of Chinese modern history." In recent months, with its historical and cultural resources as the "beginning of Chinese modern history", the museum has focused on creating the dual IPs of Opium War Hero"Lin Zexu" and "Destruction of Opium" and launched 15 series of activities under the four main themes to celebrate the "Destruction of Opium" Commemorative Month this year, attracting widespread attention from the public.
园区吹旺广东文旅消费
被称为广佛地区年轻人打卡胜地的佛山创意产业园,日均客流量约6万人次;鸦片战争博物馆“人从众”的场面在节假日频频出现……今年以来,广东众多文旅场所客流火爆,一票难求。
11月8日夜晚,位于佛山市禅城区张槎街道的佛山创意产业园迎来每天烟火气最旺、最惬意的时光。这里已成为广佛地区年轻人游玩的胜地、粤港澳大湾区夜经济的地标,入榜第一批国家级夜间文旅消费集聚区名单,获得中国十大夜市、AAA旅游景区等荣誉72项。游客徜徉于园区内的“四街八公园”,总能找到自己的所好:品美食、听音乐、逛市集、遛遛娃、过生日……统计数据显示,目前佛山创意产业园的日均客流量约6万人次。
特色餐饮成为佛山创意产业园引流的一大招牌。“探鱼”是园区内美食街最受游客喜爱的餐饮店之一,也是园区内开店最久的餐饮店之一,至今已坚持了9年。“探鱼”佛山创意产业园店的经营状况基本上已恢复到疫情前,营业收入同比2019年增长近20%-30%。“怂火锅”是该园区新引入的一家网红店。每逢节假日,该店平均每天需要放出1000多个排队号。顾客来消费也经常“一位难求”,需等上一两个小时。
佛山创意产业园何以经受住疫情考验,并强劲复苏?关键是产品这个“流量密码”。比如,建设“天伦成长中心”,使之成为全球首个生日文化旅游主题景区;营造文、商、旅、体、学、创“六位一体”的步行文化街区等等。
佛山创意产业园开始“狂飙”。佛山创意产业园董事长邱代伦告诉记者,实现产品改造后,园区的客流量翻了一倍以上,收入增加了50%以上。其中,2023年中秋国庆假期,园区客流量同比增长55%,消费总额同比增长48%。
位于东莞虎门的鸦片战争博物馆,是广东另一个热度极高的文旅场所。截至10月31日,今年该馆接待游客数达到411.57万人次,同比增长134.9%。其中,单日最高客流为5.55万人次。2023年,该馆已4次登上博物馆热搜榜,其中最高位列“全国热搜纪念馆及革命类博物馆百强榜”第5位、“广东省热搜百强博物馆榜”第2位。
“我们馆多次冲上‘热搜’,火爆全网的背后,折射出了近代史开篇之地的历史名片‘硬核’吸引力、感染力和传播力。”鸦片战争博物馆副馆长唐立鹏告诉记者,近几个月来,该馆紧紧依托历史文化资源,立足“近代史开篇地”,着力打造“林则徐”和“虎门销烟”双IP,推出了2023“虎门销烟”纪念月4大主题15项系列活动,引发公众的广泛关注。
