Shanya Study and Time Gallery is situated in the old streets of Doumen Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai. It blends well with the surrounding arcade buildings, and its nostalgic style has become the main theme of the study's time-travel experience.

Shanya Study and Time Gallery boasts a collection of over 12,000 books. Following a multi-functional operational philosophy, operators have added features such as the "Rural Revitalization Youth Palace," "Yue Book Bar," and a "Visitor Service Center."

According to the spokesperson, the study hosts activities like storytelling sessions, artistic creativity workshops, art floral arrangements, and calligraphy classes, promoting the holistic development of children and youth.

Notably, Shanya Study and Time Gallery has an exclusive backyard with flowers, leaf plants, scenic pathways, small sculptures, stone features, leisure tables, and chairs, providing readers with a leisurely resting place.

At the study, when the bright sun shines, holding a steaming cup of coffee, visitors can head to the outdoor balcony on the second floor and the rooftop terrace on the third floor to enjoy the rural countryside scenery of Doumen, overlooking the famous Jintai Temple, and spend a pleasant afternoon.

13 distinctive Shanya Studies

Shanya Study and Time Gallery is a microcosm of the "Yue Book Bar" in Doumen, Zhuhai. It is understood that there are a total of 13 Shanya Studies that have been put into use in Doumen, each with its unique characteristics and themes. Examples include Shanya Study and Children Hall nestled in Doumen Citizen's Park, Shanya Study and Yuxiu Hall, which creatively repurposed a century-old Western-style building, and the first rural study, Shanya Study and Huangjin House.

These bookish havens, filled with literary charm, offer a new type of public cultural space that combines leisure reading, artistic activities, and cultural salons, injecting fresh vitality and vigor into public cultural services in this era.

It is reported that since the opening of these public cultural spaces, they have collectively welcomed over 300,000 visitors and organized more than 700 cultural promotion events.

善雅书房·时趣馆拥有藏书1.2万余册，秉承着一室多功能的运营理念，增设了“乡村复兴少年宫”“粤书吧”“游客服务中心”。相关负责人表示，书房不定期开展故事阅读、美术创意、艺术插花、硬笔书法等公益艺术课程，促进少年儿童全面发展。

善雅书房·时趣馆是珠海斗门“粤书吧”的一个缩影，据了解，在斗门已建成并投入使用的善雅书房共有13家，一馆一特色，一馆一主题。比如藏身斗门市民公园里的善雅书房·童趣馆，百年洋楼古为今用的善雅书房·毓秀馆，首家乡村书房善雅书房·黄金屋……

一座座弥漫着书香的书房，集休闲阅读、艺术活动、文化沙龙等多元功能于一体的新型公共文化空间，让公共文化服务更具时代活力和生机。

据悉，各公共文化空间开业至今，累计接待人数达30万人次，累计开展文化推广活动超700场。
