Butterflies of the golden Kaiser-i-Hind spotted in Nanling, Guangdong
The scientific research team of the Nanling National Nature Reserve discovered a new habitat of butterflies of the golden Kaiser-i-Hind at an altitude of more than 1,600 meters above sea level in the reserve and took precious high-definition images of the discovery. This is the first time that the reserve has recorded such an up-close and high-definition video. The golden Kaiser-i-Hind is the only butterfly species under first-class state protection in China, ranking first among the eight precious butterflies in the world. It is known as “the queen of butterflies”, which is extremely rare to be spotted in the wild.
