On the evening of August 8th, the 2023 Guangzhou Culture and Tourism Promotion with the theme of "Blooming in Guangzhou, flourishing around World" was held at the Guangzhou Cultural Center. The new version of the Guangzhou culture and tourism promotional video was officially released during the event with friends from different countries as guests in the video, showcasing the new charm of Guangzhou's culture and tourism to the world.
The brand-new culture and tourism IP "Hi! YOUNG Guangzhou" made its official debut at the conference. The newly released 10 travel routes are very "YOUNG": Y stands for Yummy, O stands for Open, U stands for Unique, N stands for Night, and G stands for Graceful. These routes allow visitors to experience the charm of Guangzhou from a new perspective.
At the event, Guangzhou Government once again distributed consumer vouchers of 20 million yuan to the public, providing consumption discounts covering the entire culture and tourism market for tourists visiting Guangzhou.
Since the beginning of 2023, the culture and tourism industry in Guangzhou has covered and developed rapidly. In the first half of 2023, the city received a total of 97 million visits, a year-on-year increase of 58.2%, with a total consumption of culture and tourism reaching 135.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 49.0%.
At the same time, the reception and business revenue of travel agencies have doubled, with growth rates of 333.9% and 197.9% respectively in the first half of the year. Also, the commercial performing arts market in Guangzhou is booming, with the most large and medium-sized performances and the most artists holding concerts in the country.
In 2023, Guangzhou International Cultural Industry Fair will launch year-round culture and tourism exhibitions, with eight large-scale anime and gaming exhibitions held during the summer alone. The exhibition service business revenue in the first half of the year increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period last year.

今年以来,广州全市文旅产业快速发展,文旅消费水平迅速回升。2023年上半年,全市共接待市民游客0.97亿人次,同比增长58.2%,实现文旅消费总额1357亿元,同比增长49.0%。
与此同时,旅行社接待情况和营业收入成倍增长,上半年增幅分别达333.9%、197.9%;营业性演艺市场火爆,大中型演出数量居全国第一,来广州举办演唱会的演出艺人数量居全国第一。
2023年广州文交会启动全年文旅会展,仅暑期就有8个大型动漫游戏展集中举办,上半年会展服务营业收入同比增长1.5倍。
