The inaugural "Luohu Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cultural Month" was held successfully from July 21st to 23rd. Nearly a hundred street artists and brand managers from 24 cities across China showcased their original works, offering a three-day art feast for the citizens.

Onsite, the organizers integrated trendy themes with the artistic buildings of Jinpi Fang (formerly Kingway Brewery) through multiple events such as art exhibitions, screening units, and trendy item auctions in different areas. In the outdoor experience zone of graffiti, both artists and the public create impromptu graffiti for the sharing joy of creation.

In the screening unit, artists from major art and design schools in China presented a dazzling array of animated and cinematic works, including animated shorts, experimental films, and documentaries. The 29 exhibited works were all created by young artists who conveyed personalized interests and values through their unique perspectives, artistic forms, and themes. All express their observations and reflections on contemporary times and life to seek spiritual resonance and broader enlightenment at the event.

During the event, every day there were music flash mobs. Performers included Zhu Rongding, who had studied in Germany for years and won the first prize in string ensemble in the 7th Odin International Music Competition, as well as a clarinet orchestra founded by Song Baoli in 2008, the former principal clarinetist of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.

The independent exhibition area for artists was the largest one of the entire event. Nearly a hundred street artists, designers, and brand managers from 24 cities across China attended, bringing diverse creative content and novel trendy art experiences, such as original artwork, art peripherals, original IP, designer toys, creative handicrafts, and jewelry design. Many of the artists personally manned their booths, chatting with the audience about their creative experiences. A public art project named "Trade Your Object for a Portrait" was also launched. Audience members were invited to exchange any item with on-site artists for a portrait sketch of themselves. Any small trinket, a drink, or candy could be used as the exchange item, with no value limit.

As the most popular art form favored by young people, trendy art has embarked on a journey of rapid development in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, presenting a multitude of artistic expressions and innovative vitality while driving the growth of related industries.

According to the event's organizers, as the "emotional dock" and "bridgehead" of Shenzhen and Hong Kong's integration, Luohu continuously attracts and unleashes the powerful energy and potential of trendy art from both cities. With more Hong Kong people heading to the Chinese mainland, the trendy art festival will serve as a powerful practice to promote young artistic exchanges between the two cities, thus further strengthening their communication and interaction.

图集|首届“罗湖深港文化月”潮流艺术节举办

7月21日-23日,首届“罗湖深港文化月”潮流艺术节成功举办。来自全国24座城市的近百位潮流艺术家、主理人携原创作品集体亮相,为市民献上为期三天的艺术盛宴。

记者在现场看到,主办方将潮流主题与金啤坊的艺术建筑融合,在不同区域举办艺术展览、放映单元、潮品拍卖等多场活动。在户外涂鸦体验区,不仅有艺术家现场进行即兴涂鸦创作,同时也向公众开放涂鸦区,共享创作的快乐。

在放映单元,来自中国各大美院及艺术院校的艺术家带来精彩纷呈的动画和影像作品。从动画短片、实验影像到纪录片,29部参展作品一次性让观众看个够。这些短片全部出自年轻创作者之手,他们以独特的视角、艺术形式和选题,传达个性化的趣味与价值,表达自身对当下时代和生活的观察与思考,寻求精神的共鸣与更广泛的启迪。

在艺术节现场,每一天都会有音乐快闪表演即兴上演。演出嘉宾包括在德国留学多年、曾获第七届奥丁国际音乐比赛弦乐组一等奖等奖项的朱熔鼎,以及由深圳交响乐团单簧管原首席宋宝利于2008年组建的羽翼(深圳)雅颁单簧管乐团。

艺术家独立展区是整个艺术节占地最大的展区。来自全国24座城市的近百位潮流艺术家、设计师、潮流厂牌主理人亲临现场,带来艺术品原作、艺术周边、原创IP、潮流玩具、创意手作、首饰设计等多元化创意内容与新颖有趣的潮流艺术体验。难能可贵的是,许多艺术家本人都坐镇摊位,与观众畅谈创作心得。在这里还发起“以物换画”公共艺术项目。观众只需提供任意一件物品,即可与现场艺术家交换一幅人物肖像速写。随身的零碎小玩意儿、一杯饮品或一颗糖果都可以作为交换物件,价值不限。

潮流艺术是当下深受年轻群体喜爱的艺术形式,近年来,深港两地的潮流艺术发展迅猛,在呈现艺术万象、创新活力的同时,也带动了相关产业的蓬勃发展。活动相关负责人介绍,罗湖作为深港融合的“情感码头”与“桥头堡”,两地的潮流艺术不断在此汇聚,迸发出强大的活力与潜力。随着“港人北上”的热潮来临,潮流艺术节将作为促进两地青年艺术往来的有力实践,进一步加强两地青年交流交往。
