With a gray knife stained with lime pulp, in just a few minutes, a three-dimensional old tree with new branches and fine leaves is presented on the wall. This technique is called stucco relief, which is a traditional sculpture art in the Lingnan area. Liang Yongtai, 63, is a stucco relief artisan. He has been involved in stucco relief since he was 13 years old. He hopes to restore the glory of traditional architecture and revive the cultural memory of this place.
