From colorful Shaoguan to the Strait of Malacca, a dialogue across mountains and seas is about to begin. From August 23rd to 28th, the "From Zhuji Lane to the World" Guangfu Cultural Exchange Tour will be held in Singapore and Indonesia.

At noon on August 23rd local time, the delegation of the exchange event arrived in Singapore. Leveraging the rich resources of Zhuji Lane—the ancestral home of Guangfu people worldwide and the birthplace of Guangfu culture—the event aims to promote cultural exports, sustain the ties of Guangfu kinship and carry forward Lingnan culture.

On the morning of August 24th, the exchange event will feature a Guangfu cultural performance at the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA). Renowned actors Kang Jian and Tan Qingyi from the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theater will perform selected excerpts from the classic Cantonese opera "Soul Tied to Zhuji Lane," vividly recounting the legendary southward migration of Zhuji Lane descendants through theatrical language. Local Cantonese opera troupes in Singapore will also share the stage, presenting the opera excerpt "The Palace of Eternal Life on Qixi Festival" and a vocal performance of the Cantonese operatic song "Dream Encounter at Lake Tai." In addition, Zhang Chi will deliver a lighthearted Cantonese stand-up comedy routine, discussing Guangfu folk customs, Cantonese culture and the cross-border journeys of the Guangfu people.

“走出珠玑巷”广府文化海外交流行首站抵达新加坡

从五彩韶关到马六甲海峡，一场跨越山海的对话即将开启。8月23日至8月28日，“走出珠玑巷”广府文化海外交流活动将于新加坡和印度尼西亚举办。

当地时间8月23日中午，“走出珠玑巷”广府文化海外交流活动代表团一行抵达新加坡。此次“走出珠玑巷”广府文化海外交流活动，依托海内外广府人祖源地、广府文化发源地的珠玑巷丰富资源，推动文化出海，赓续广府乡情，弘扬岭南文化。

8月24日上午，交流活动将在新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会举办广府文化展演：广东粤剧院著名演员康健、谭清怡等将表演粤剧经典剧目《魂牵珠玑巷》精选片段，以戏剧语言生动讲述广府人珠玑巷后裔南迁的传说故事；新加坡当地粤剧社团也将同台献演《七月七日长生殿》折子戏、粤曲清唱《梦会太湖》等节目；张弛则会带来轻松有趣的粤语脱口秀，聊聊广府民俗、粤语文化以及广府人跨越山海的故事。
