At the 2026 World Robot Conference(WRC), the Guangdong delegation presented a concentrated showcase of market-tested, real-world robotics products. Guangdong serves as one of China's primary hubs for the large-scale deployment of embodied AI robotics. In 2025, the province's industrial robot output reached 336,300 units, ranking first nationwide for six consecutive years, while service robot output reached 15.18 million units, accounting for 81.7% of China's total. As a pioneer in launching the "Guangdong Embodied Intelligence Application Scenario Challenge Tour," Guangdong has unlocked over 50 real-world scenarios and established the "Yue Zhi Fu"platform (an online matching platform for Guangdong manufacturing empowerment), connecting 962 enabling institutions to foster hands-on, real-scene training.

In industrial and inspection scenarios, UBTECH's Cruzr Y1/S2 robots achieved fully autonomous, uncrewed operations across entire workflows, including loading/unloading automotive sheet metal parts and tote depalletizing/palletizing. Super-smart Robotics' YJ30 series quadruped robot dogs have been deployed in scenarios such as Shenzhen metro stations to carry out inspections in high-risk environments and transport materials. In commercial services, RobotAnno's AI Robot latte-art coffee kiosks have been rolled out across more than 100 cities in China and over 70 countries worldwide. High Torque Robotics' Mini Pi series small bipedal robots have partnered with over 50 universities across China and executed numerous commercial events.

Home services represent the ultimate challenge for embodied AI. X Square Robot introduced on-demand housekeeping services, replicating full-scale household scenarios at the exhibition such as folding clothes and retrieving food deliveries; UBTECH's hyper-realistic humanoid robot U1, powered by an emotional large model, can be applied to elder care, companionship and psychological support scenarios. Industry insiders point out that real-world embodied AI deployment still faces bottlenecks in data and model generalization capabilities. For the industry to take root, priority must be given to thoroughly developing B2B scenarios like inspection and retail outlets, with household consumer markets serving as the final frontier to conquer.
