From August 14th to 18th, the 16th Kashi-Central and South Asia Commodity Fair ("Kashi fair") is being held at the Kashi International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year's fair debuts a dual "guest province of honor and guest country of honor" mechanism, with Guangdong Province invited as the guest province of honor and Uzbekistan as the guest country of honor. Government representatives and business delegations from 44 Belt and Road partner countries have gathered in Kashi.

Launched in 2005 as a local fair, the event has grown into a regional international trade and economic expo. As of the 15th edition, it had attracted a cumulative total of 38,000 enterprises from 56 countries and regions, with total transactions exceeding 480 billion yuan. This year's fair features three exhibition areas at the Kashi International Convention and Exhibition Center, Kashi Border Region International Trade Center and Kashi Tonggong Auto City, with the total exhibition area expanded to 46,000 square meters.

The Guangdong economic and trade delegation comprises 304 participating organizations, setting a new record. The Guangdong Pavilion houses 38 enterprises in a 304‑square‑meter centralized exhibition area; the Guangdong Small Appliance Pavilion in Hall E hosts 19 enterprises across 200 square meters; and the "Guangdong Goods Go Global" brand display zone in Halls B/C/D offers 30 standard booths, targeting market demand in Kashi, Central Asia, and South Asia to promote Guangdong‑made products westward into incremental markets. Notably, drawing on the achievements of the "Cantonese Chef Project" in supporting Xinjiang, local Cantonese chefs trained under the program have been specially invited to cook on‑site at the food zone in Hall F, allowing visitors from near and far to sample authentic Lingnan flavors.

广东首次担任第十六届喀交会主宾省 百企组团参会

8月14日至18日，第十六届新疆喀什·中亚南亚商品交易会（以下简称“喀交会”）在喀什国际会展中心举行。本届喀交会首次创设“主宾省+主宾国”双机制，广东省受邀担任主宾省，乌兹别克斯坦担任主宾国，44个“一带一路”共建国家的政府代表和企业客商齐聚喀什。

自2005年首届地方性展洽会起步，喀交会已成长为区域性国际经贸盛会。截至第十五届，喀交会累计吸引56个国家和地区、3.8万家企业参展，成交总额超4800亿元。本届展会设喀什国际会展中心、喀什边疆国贸交易中心、喀什通工汽车城三大展区，展览总面积扩容至4.6万平方米。

广东经贸代表团由304家单位组团参展参会，创历史新高。广东主题馆组织38家企业在304平方米区域内集中布展；E馆广东小家电形象馆19家企业进驻200平方米展区；B/C/D馆广货行天下品牌展示区设30个标准展位，面向喀什及中亚、南亚市场需求，推动广东制造西行开拓增量市场。值得一提的是，F馆美食区依托“粤菜师傅”工程援疆成果，特邀工程培养的喀什本土优秀粤菜师傅现场掌勺，让八方来客品尝岭南风味。
