City Life | The 16th “Litchi Bay, New Xiguan” folk cultural event opened at Yongqing Fang in Guangzhou on April 19, during the Sanyuesan Festival.

Local Pantang villagers performed lion dances for blessings and held the traditional pork-sharing ritual for elders, while hundreds of banquets brought the area to life. The event offers a vivid glimpse into Lingnan folk traditions.

Visitors can enjoy spring outings, poetry recitals, kite flying, treasure hunts, and local snack tastings, including water chestnut cake.

“三月三·荔枝湾”民俗活动来了！4月19日农历三月初三，第十六届“荔枝湾·新西关”民俗活动在广州永庆坊热闹开启！泮塘村民舞狮祈福、太公分猪肉、百桌流水席宴西关，现场年味+民俗感拉满。

净手踏青、对诗放鸢、寻宝探店、吃马蹄糕……传统上巳节玩法焕新上线！最受欢迎的还是“太公分猪肉”，游客排长龙领福肉，讨个好意头。

傍晚四地同步开席，百余桌流水村宴沿水岸铺开，村民为游客夹菜讲菜名，醒狮穿行助兴，乡情烟火气直接拉满～
