Since the beginning of this year, the momentum behind the coordinated development of Guangdong's manufacturing and service industries has continued to build. In the first two months of 2026, Guangdong's output of industrial robots surged 68% year on year, the fastest growth rate in the country. In 2025, Guangdong accounted for 43.5% of China's total industrial robot output, ranking first nationwide for the sixth consecutive year, while its share of national service robot output reached 81.7%. The robotics, drone and new energy vehicle industries are advancing in tandem, injecting strong momentum into the development of a modern industrial system.

On the policy front, Guangdong released an annual action plan in March 2026 to advance the coordinated development of the manufacturing and service industries. Measures previously introduced to promote AI-empowered manufacturing are also accelerating the creation of a demonstration zone for the integrated development of "AI + manufacturing." According to the Construction Plan for the National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone in Guangdong Province (2025-2027), the scale of Guangdong's core AI industry is expected to exceed 440 billion yuan by 2027. Guangdong is now home to more than 1,600 core AI enterprises.

In industrial practice, digital twins and industrial intelligent agents have emerged as key new infrastructure. The former enables R&D, manufacturing and marketing to operate in coordination on a single platform, while the latter, powered by large AI models, can make and execute decisions autonomously in production, operations and maintenance. Guangdong has launched the "hundreds of industries, thousands of models" initiative, focusing on fostering vertical large models for key sectors such as electronic information, smart home appliances and automobiles. It has also introduced model vouchers to support enterprises in accessing AI capabilities on demand.

With the boost from AI+ technologies, the integration of Guangdong's manufacturing and service industries has entered a new critical stage. AI is permeating every link of research and development, production, data governance and interactive services. In Guangdong, the two-way efforts between technology and industry are reshaping the competitive landscape of global manufacturing.

数智赋能，两业协同发展驶上快车道

今年以来，广东制造业与服务业协同发展势能持续释放。2026年1至2月，工业机器人产量同比增长68.0%，增速领跑全国。2025年，广东工业机器人产量占全国43.5%，连续六年居全国第一；服务机器人产量占全国81.7%。机器人、无人机、新能源汽车三大产业齐头并进，为现代化产业体系注入强劲动力。

政策层面，广东今年3月发布推动两业协同发展的年度行动方案，此前出台的人工智能赋能制造业举措，正加快打造“人工智能+制造业”融合发展示范区。根据数字经济发展试验区建设方案，到2027年广东人工智能核心产业规模将超过4400亿元。目前全省人工智能核心企业已超过1600家。

在产业实践中，数字孪生与工业智能体成为关键的新型基础设施。前者实现研发、制造、营销在同一平台协同运作；后者以大模型为核心，在生产运维中自主决策执行。广东推出“百行千模”行动，聚焦电子信息、智能家电、汽车等重点行业培育垂直大模型，并设立模型券支持企业按需调用AI能力。

在AI+技术的加持下，广东制造业与服务业的融合已进入新的关键期。人工智能正渗透进研发、生产、数据治理及交互服务的每一个细胞。在这片南粤大地上，科技与产业的“双向奔赴”重塑着全球制造业的竞争版图。
