On March 3rd, the Lantern Festival, NPC deputies from Guangdong and CPPCC members based in Guangdong flew from Guangzhou to Beijing to attend the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), respectively. Filled with enthusiasm, they checked in for the meetings carrying the public sentiment and public opinion they had gathered through year-round research, along with well-prepared suggestions and proposals.

At the 2026 "two sessions," "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" has become a buzz phrase. "Guangdong-made products" such as Meizhou Golden Pomelo, Huazhou Huajuhong seedlings, Zengcheng Simiao Rice, and Yangchun "Xiaosheng Huadan" eggs, a local specialty named after Cantonese opera character types, were brought to Beijing by the deputies and members, who are speaking up for their fellow villagers. NPC deputy Liao Zhilue arrived carrying a fruit-bearing Huajuhong seedling and holding a photo of villagers' smiling faces. This year, he will offer suggestions on having the Huajuhong traditional Chinese medicine culture included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, advancing the construction of the Maoming section of the Shenzhen–Nanning Expressway, and incorporating the northern route of the Guangzhou–Zhanjiang high-speed railway into the national rail network plan.

Artificial intelligence has become another "hot topic." CPPCC member Zhai Meiqing proposed lowering the barrier to AI adoption for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and promoting the direct and rapid delivery of policy support. Wang Lizong focused on the integrated development of the computing power network in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Tang Dongsheng proposed multi-scenario applications and industrial planning for embodied intelligence.

Focusing on "the old and the young," as well as education and the training of skilled personnel, Fei Yingying paid close attention to inclusive elderly care and childcare services and the cross-provincial transfer and continuation of social insurance. Xu Ling focused on deeper integration between education and industry to promote high-quality employment. Yang Denghui suggested improving mechanisms for enterprises to participate in the training of skilled workers.

Entrusted by the people, NPC deputies from Guangdong and CPPCC members based in Guangdong will bring grassroots voices to the national deliberative arena and translate development concerns into practical policy advice.

肩负人民的重托 共赴春天的盛会

3日元宵节，在粤全国人大代表、住粤全国政协委员从广州乘机抵达北京，分别出席十四届全国人大四次会议和全国政协十四届四次会议。他们满怀热忱，带着一年来调研收集的民情民意和精心酝酿的建议提案向大会报到。

今年全国两会，“广货行天下”成为热词。梅州金柚、化州化橘红树苗、增城丝苗米、阳春“小生花蛋”等“广货”随代表委员赴京，为乡亲代言。全国人大代表廖志略手拎一株挂果的化橘红树苗，怀抱印有村民笑脸的照片。今年，他将围绕化橘红中药文化列入国家级非遗名录、深南高速茂名段建设、广湛高铁北线纳入国家路网规划等建言献策。

人工智能成为“热话题”。全国政协委员翟美卿建议降低中小微企业AI应用门槛，推动政策直达快享；王理宗关注粤港澳大湾区算力网一体化建设；唐冬生围绕具身智能多场景应用和产业布局提出建议。

围绕“一老一小”、教育与技能人才培养，费英英关注养老托育普惠服务和社保跨省衔接；许玲聚焦教育与产业深度融合，推动实现高质量就业；杨登辉建议完善企业参与技能人才培养机制。

肩负人民重托，在粤全国人大代表和住粤全国政协委员将把基层声音带到国家议事殿堂，把发展关切转化为务实建言。
