The invitation "Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Guangdong" attracted visitors from near and far during this year's Chinese New Year. A tidal lane on the Xuchang-Guangzhou Expressway eased traffic congestion, while the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge ensured smooth passage for "Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles". During the fireworks show at Bai'etan and Inner Bay, public security authorities strengthened on-site security and order maintenance, ensuring a safe and peaceful holiday for the public.

With the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Guangdong police have delivered impressive results in public safety: in 2025, the public sense of security reached 98.76%, maintaining above 98% for four consecutive years. Criminal and public security incidents, as well as criminal cases filed, have reached their lowest levels this century. Newly occurred homicide cases in 2025 maintained a 100% clearance rate, and the crackdown on telecom and online fraud has yielded significant results. In 2025, incidents and cases related to fraud and associated crimes further decreased by 17.4% and 11.4% year-on-year, respectively, preventing losses and recovering funds amounting to 3.07 billion yuan for the public.

Guangdong has accelerated its opening-up efforts, adding five ports adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao as entry ports for the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, with visa-free entries surging 83% year on year in 2025. Since the policy took effect, entry procedures have become smoother and more convenient, providing tangible benefits for tourists and business visitors to Guangdong.

A South Korean tourist, upon entering through the Shenzhen Futian Port with the visa-free transit policy, exclaimed, "This is truly a spontaneous trip!" This simple remark highlights the ease and convenience brought by the policy. An Italian buyer attending the Canton Fair also mentioned that the visa-free policy eliminated cumbersome procedures, allowing them to focus more on business negotiations. The benefits of the visa-free policy are continuously unfolding, transforming the flow of travelers into economic growth.
From safeguarding the everyday lives of the people to serving high-quality development, Guangdong police, with both powerful force and sustained care, have woven safety into the fabric of Guangdong.
